Charming LR w/ sunny mountain view, full dine-in kitchen, bathroom, and use of our pretty side garden. The Grabow is in the heart of the place of which Anthony Bourdain said, "This might well just be the most awesome place on earth!"

This building was constructed in 1866 and served as the county courthouse when Virginia City was the territorial capital of Montana. Once the present courthouse replaced this one, 3 Catholic Sisters of Charity from Leavenworth, Kansas used the building to open St. Mary's Hospital for miners. The hospital briefly prospered before the placer gold was exhausted in. In 1940 Mr. Bovey remodeled the interior as a hotel but little has changed on the exterior from the eighteen seventies.

This place was the cutest Airbnb I’ve stayed at. The decor and use of local resources i.e. antlers, rocks, and wood was creative and well executed. Truly the work they did to integrate the old parts of the building with updates and keep the aesthetic consistent is impressive. The best part was the view and the light. The windows had a gorgeous view into the park and we loved that. It has a full kitchen, but it’s definitely a better place to have take away and do really basic meal prep vs brining all your own food and cooking there, and that’s fair enough since the kitchen space is so small and there wasn’t much they could do about that. Beyond that there are quite a few places to chow nearby that are solid. Overall, highly recommend as a vacation spot and gorgeous stay.

We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay especially if you like to walk around and visit shops!! Such a beautiful view from the room as well!! We met Patricia in the lobby downstairs and she was lovely!! And we were even greeted by a cute grey kitty upstairs! (made our day because we were missing our kitties that were at home😅) We definitely plan on coming back and staying here again!!

I stayed during a Wildland Fire assignment. It was a great place to stay during my 2 week assignment.

Even more beautiful than the pictures. The perfect location on the edge of town. We loved eating breakfast and dinner on the front and back balconies, looking out at the views of the mountains.

The host was very flexible and great communicator with a late check in for this small BnB with several rooms. The location was a little difficult to find in the dark, but the neighborhood is decent and the room was great for sleep and private. The place was very clean with a lot of amenities. Attendent was there if you needed them. Check out time was a little early at 10am.
