Monthly Rentals in Smith Island

10/10 if u could give more i would. From the minute we booked to after getting back home Jemma was above and beyond helpful, responsive and really went out of her way to ensure a more than perfect stay for my family. She opened her other 2 homes to us to let us check them out, introduced us to with other locals who were just as friendly and welcoming as jemma: they let my girls check out their goats and roosters and ducks. Jemma was always available and was kind enough to share her 2 island pups with my girls, allowing them to come hang out and visit through out the day. Jemma was there to pick us up from the boat and get us back on. She even went out of her way to make me a bowl of sautéed veggies from her garden when I told her I was craving a salad and couldn’t get one on the island (wasn’t complaining just making mention of it) Her home was beautifully decorated, so much love and detain went into every inch of the house Loved the bathtub and shower the layout the location

I’ve stayed here multiple times and it’s always a wonderful experience. It’s almost my home away from home. They recently updated the bathroom and it’s beautiful. Nice waterfall shower head and more shelving. The bnb has been updated with summer decor which makes it feel more homey. I’ve never had a problem or bad experience staying here.

The house was wonderful -- clean, simply furnished, a more-than-adequate kitchen and bathroom. Beds extremely comfortable. The pictures suggest the back yard is on the water....there is actually a house behind Janet's house. BUT, there is an easy-to-access dock that was just wonderful. The single negative? The bugs!! Not anything controllable by others, of course, but did discourage us from the walking of the island we hoped to do. The end of the dock was our refuge -- and the view was just wonderful. Birds plentiful. The people of Smith Island were welcoming, gracious, patient. No exceptions. I am grateful they offer such hospitality.

We have stayed with Tim a number of times. We enjoy staying at his Airbnb and going fishing several times a year. I am sure that we will be back.
