MtDome - your private midnight sun escape

Very private and cozy dome in a rare location. If you truly want to meet the Icelandic nature and weather, then this is the place for you. It has a fireplace, panorama sauna and not a person in sight. A superb place to see the northern lights or enjoy the midnight sun. You have to work for your reward by walking for about 10 minutes to the dome from the parking at the farm. Its a good place is you want to get off the beaten track and still be close to the main attractions like the golden circle.

It is really fun to walk around and people on this street. It is very well located in terms of public transportation. The bus stops right across the street and the domestic airport is 3 min away driving. The BSI bus stop, which takes you to Keflavík international airport is only 5 to 10 min walking. Our daughter lives in a separate apartment in the backyard

Lyngbær is surrounded with fir trees and birch, moss and mountains, with hiking trails all around, and near by is the lake Hafravatn. 2 km to the next grocery store, and 3 km to the center of Mosfellsbæ, where you can find a bakery, restaurants and library. About 600 meters to the bus stop, where you can take the bus to Reykjavík centrum.
