We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Cabin in Húsavík, Sandoy

Almost 200-year-old listed stone house in the historic village of Húsavík on Sandoy. You live close to nature in an old traditional Faroese stone house with grass on the roof, wooden walls and wooden and stone floors. The house is in a longhouse, where you go through the 'smoke room' (where the sleeping area is) into the living room (glass room). The smoke room has a high ceiling, while the living room is lower, overlooking the sea. Older bathroom and a small kitchen with new appliances and dishwasher.

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.
