Modern holiday home in maritime style. The captain of Skibladner lived here for many years, and the house is full of shipping history. Here you will find 4 bedrooms with a total of 9 beds, a large bathroom with shower, washing machine and dryer, well-equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with a cozy wood-burning stove. The house also has a heat pump to keep a comfortable temperature all year round. If you want breakfast, we will buy it and put it in the fridge (NOK 850 fixed price for the whole house - paid separately).

The house is large and spacious, and is located with a lovely view over Mjøsa. By car it is about 1 hour to Lillehammer, 50 min to Gjøvik, 30 min to Hamar and about 20 min to Brumunddal. The house is charming and cozy and located right next to Mjøsa. Here you can wake up listening to the waves from the lake and see beautiful sunsets at the evening. Mjøsa is Norway's larges lake with great fishing. The house have a 120 meter private shore with a beach in the end. Perfect for kids (see picture for equipment). The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
