I definitely recommend this beautiful and cozy cottage with a thermal pool, surrounded by beautiful Icelandic nature. The owners were always very friendly and helpful 😊

Het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer is adembenemend. De villa is goed te bereiken en ligt op minder dan tien minuten rijden van Fludir, waar je boodschappen kunt doen en naar de secret lagoon kunt gaan. Perfecte locatie dus. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in de villa!

Wat een mooie en nieuwe lokatie. We zijn zeer tevreden. Slaapkamers top, gedeelde badkamers ook helemaal prima. We hebben gekookt en alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig, inclusief Wifi. Zeer aanbevelenswaardig.

Loved our stay in this beautiful home. It was toasty warm with lovely outlooks and space yo relax while still feeling part of the beautiful scenery. The house was well equipped. The host was very responsive when we needed some help to work the hot tub.

This home offered a cozy place to stay for our family of 9 as we visited the Golden Circle. The rural location was so peaceful. The kitchen was nice for meal preparation and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this home for your stay!

What a great find! The place was perfect and the rooms were spacious, warm and comfortable. The kids loved the hot tub and I loved the books! I read a Steinbeck book which I greatly appreciated. The kitchen was beautiful as was the sunroom. I imagine the sunroom would be the perfect room to see the Northern Lights. The neighborhood was peaceful and we even got to spend a little time with one of the neighbors who was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very spacious, clean & nicely designed. If you are looking for horseback riding our kids LOVED “Riding Tours South Iceland.” Our stay was absolutely wonderful. I would love to return there someday.

This place is an absolute gem! We spent thoroughly enjoyed this secluded home. The hot tub was perfect for enjoying an evening outside. The wood burning stove kept us warm and cozy. Everything was wonderful.

This was an absolutely amazing stay amid a beautiful horse farm, just a little off of the beaten path and still very easy to get to and close to many wonderful sites of interest. Kristján and his family were incredibly welcoming, the house was pristine and larger and even more comfortable than expected from the photos, with excellent heating and all of the amenities we could have wanted. It was a great place to stay with kids, and our hosts were incredibly generous about sharing their knowledge and love of animals with us and our children. I highly recommend it.

What a wonderful place and in the perfect location for exploring the Golden Circle. The house was plenty big for the eight adults in our group, and we were all able to spread out, but also come together for meals and games. Although we didn’t use it, the hot tub was a great amenity. Our host was wonderful and very responsive when I contacted her with a question before booking and also when I needed to turn off the security system. We would highly recommend staying here.

We absolutely LOVED the Villa. It was immaculate, modern and so well stocked. Hosts were ideal and it was one of my favorite venues ever. So many comfortable beds and the ideal spot to achieve our bucket list objective of seeing the Northern Lights. We’ll never forget this stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain’s Villa. Beautiful, spotless and ideal for our group of 7, but it could easily accommodate 10. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, each with double beds; a common area with a sofa bed; full bathroom; balcony; and entrance to the glass dome. On the first floor, there is a great room with living area, dining area and extremely well-stocked kitchen (rare for Airbnb rental). First floor also has a bedroom with a double bed and crib and full bathroom with laundry. There was a lot of thought put into the home, from the design to the lock box for the dishwasher tablets (for child safety)—even a bowl full of “Mountain Villa” branded chocolates in the living room—such a nice touch! I wish we hadn’t booked as many hot spring visits, as we could have taken better advantage of the hot tub, cold plunge and sauna—which were lovely. My husband and I took part in the lifting stones challenge in the front lawn—and I was pleased to lift the 45 kg stone to the pedestal.

This house is amazing… it stood out among 3 airbnbs we used this trip… comfortable, well stocked (foosball, great kitchen amenities, quality towels linens and beds) and in an exquisite location on a small cliff with great panoramic views of far-off snow capped mountains. Hosts were responsive when we tripped the circuit breaker and helped us quickly get power back. I have literally zero complaints and so many things i lived about this house!!! Many thanks to these gracious hosts!

This was a really beautiful place to stay, we loved it. House was spotless and so well equipped and warm. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Location was amazing and the views are incredible. The high snow fall did make getting out of the driveway difficult, but that was part of the adventure.

Five stars!! The home was immaculate and there were stunning views out every window. The hot tub was a great way to start and end the day and the convenience of being able to do laundry was much appreciated. We loved being able to spend a couple days on the Golden circle and not rush. We wished we had more time as we would have enjoyed just sitting on the porch in nature and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend this place.

Arnar’s home is outstanding, we were a family of 3 staying however there was plenty of room for another 4 more people to stay if needed. The living space was nice to relax and look out over the Mountain View’s and the sheep would come by in the morning. It is completely private with its out private drive, a car is needed but everything is close by. We were lucky to see the Northern lights from the home. The pool table was loved by our son and my personal favourite was the hot tub and the electric massage chair. The home is so well located for the Golden circle with most attractions within 30 mins and the secret Lagoon 5 mins away. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing home with us.

Great house in a beautiful environment. Clean and spacious with great rooms. The location is very good in the south of Iceland. Wonderful stay all together and Helga answered all of my questions quickly. Highly recommend

Die Hütte liegt nicht nur ruhig und abgelegen, sondern auch sehr nah an Gulfoss, Strokkur und (etwas weiter) Pingvellir. Brüarfoss und zwei kleinere Wasserfälle sind fußläufig entfernt. Das Highlight ist der eigene Hot Pot. Mit diesem gab es anfangs ein Problem, der Gastgeber kümmerte sich umgehend um Reparatur - eine halbe Stunde (!) nach unserer Meldung funktionierte er wieder.

Lovely cosy cabin in peaceful surroundings - we loved hearing the snipes calling while we were sitting on the terrace of in the hot tub. Perfect location for lots of day trips to the main golden circle sites.

Sylvia und ihr Mann waren sehr sympathische Gastgeber, wohnten gleich nebenan. Es gab einen tollen Empfangs-Obstkorb, Milch im Kühlschrank. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Bei Sonne (wenn vorhanden) kann man Abendsonne auf der Terrasse genießen.

The photos do not do Gudlaug’s place justice. It was extremely comfortable. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was so cozy. We used the hot tub every single day. The location is excellent. It is very close to the Golden Circle Drive, the ferry to the Westman Islands, and all of the South Coast. If you are looking for privacy, comfort, beauty, and relaxation in Iceland after all your touring this is the place. We are a family of five and there was room to spare.

Wonderful stay! The home is as pictured and with amenities listed. We had three extra comfortable nights of sleep and days of relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the view. Just a few minutes drive to several of the key attractions on the Golden Circle which made it extra fun and easy. The kitchen was stocked with basics for cooking and there is a restaurant and grocery store 20 min's away. The accommodation is semi-private as there is a driveway that circles past the hot tub area that gets a little traffic. So wear your very nice provided robe while getting in and out. The microwave is very high up but worked fine for my 6'3" husband. We'd definitely come back if ever in the area again. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Très belle emplacement

Everything was perfect! The extra house was perfect for my mom to have her private space. Everything was very clean. We enjoyed all the items needed in the kitchen for cooking in. We also enjoyed the sudoko puzzle book and games. The windows are amazing! We also watched some movies due to the rainy weather.

ik ben al 8 keer in IJsland geweest en dit verblijf overtrof alle verwachtingen. Letterlijk alles is aanwezig in deze leuke en warme hut! Van een volledig uitgeruste keuken (zelfs een afwasmachine!) tot de geweldige jaccuzi.. ik wou dat ik meer sterren kon geven want het was gewoon perfect! Halldór en Inga reageerden super snel en ze voorzien ook een map met interessante informatie! ik kom hier zeker terug :)
