The cabin has a living room and kitchen in one, a free-standing refrigerator, 1 bedroom with a family bunk bed. Extra bed possible if 4 people. Small wood stove in the living room and access to wood. Beautifully located with marked hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Nice area for both mushroom and berry picking, swimming and fishing. Prepared ski slopes a short drive away. Newer cabin of 136 m2 located on the east side of Odalen's pearl, Storsjøen. Here you can enjoy your vacation with family or friends. It is a peaceful little cottage area with about 50 cottages. Short distance to the lake for swimming, fishing and other water activities. Storsjøen is shallow and has high bathing temperatures of about 22-26 degrees. The area has 2 beaches, a long beach that is suitable for toddlers and one with more depth for the slightly larger ones. There are also many hiking trails to explore and small fishing waters in Odalen.

Hurdal ski resort is a short drive away and the area offers amazing nature, hiking trails and swimming areas by beautiful Hurdalsjøen. The cabin is also close to the airport, and is just as suitable for holidays as for business trips. Spar Hurdal (grocery store/supermarket) 6km towards Hurdal. Linen and towels are included.

There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.
