This house really made us happy! I am almost at a loss for words to describe the beauty of the view. In fact, you could sit in the living room all day and enjoy the magnificent natural spectacle. From the living room we saw sea eagles, ptarmigan and even a stoat. Our wish - and the real reason for our trip - to see the Northern Lights was fulfilled on the very first evening, on the second evening we were offered the very big Northern Lights spectacle, what a gift! In the folder provided, we found excursion tips, including for a fishing tour from Reine. We had an unforgettable day on the TrioII and brought home 8 kg of fresh cod caught by ourselves. The house is very well equipped with plenty of comfortable seating in the living room, the kitchen is complete and we particularly liked the wood-burning stove. An extraordinary place!

Charming house right on the beach. Beautiful scenery. Bathroom and laundry amenities were great. Bed was very comfortable. Easy check in. We appreciate the sentiment of the house being the host’s childhood home— very special! Thank you for sharing your home and your lovely hospitality!

The best airbnb we've stayed in! The pictures of the post don't do its justice for the breathtaking view that stunned us the moment we arrived. The house is beautifully decorated. Kitchen is well maintained and more than fully stocked. So perfect, that we could've stayed forever.:) I left my phone time-lapsed the midnight run's movement overnight in the living room. Couldn't think of anywhere else could offer such comfort. Marius was very responsive and considerate. The instruction to find the house is clear. Just pay attention to the house #. It will help in finding the way. Located conveniently close to Leknes which has everything. Minor notes: no microwave nor shampoo. But the place was so flawless that we didn't mind. A sidenote - Sorry I turned off the heater coz it's warm. I only learned later that in Norway it is probably more energy efficient to leave the main heater on all the time. I should have known better. A truly unforgettable experience-highly recommend!

We couldn’t have been happier at Minkfarmmen - Lasse’s place. The location is right in nature, the views spectacular, and the house is super comfortable. You could tell great care was considered in every detail. We loved it!

We had a very nice stay in the apartment. It was clean, tidy and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is central in Leknes, with walking distance to both the city center and several nice hiking areas. There is also a short drive to popular places such as Reine and Svolvær (about one hour each way), and the airport is right nearby, which made it very convenient. Communication with the host was excellent – fast, pleasant and helpful. Can definitely be recommended!

Very comfortable place in a central location on Lofoten islands. Clean and with all facilities.

Let’s start with the cabin itself, which was really amazing. Beautiful, clean, well-equipped space that was perfect for our group. The hot tub on the balcony was great. Oliver was responsive and helpful. Location would depend on your needs in the area. It’s definitely a neighborhood. So cabins are close together. The area will be amazing, as of now lots of construction around the property. I imagine it will quickly change and soon be a non issue, but we weren’t expecting it and felt it impacted our ability to fully enjoy the view and the surrounding area.

We had an excellent stay at Glenn’s place near Leknes in Sennesvik. This was one of the cleanest and most convenient Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. The unit was thoughtfully designed—everything from the pristine kitchen to the modern bathroom and simple, tidy bedrooms made it easy to stay organized, especially while traveling with an infant. The location was perfect for accessing all our hiking destinations across the Lofoten Islands during our three-night stay. The peaceful, serene view was a bonus we truly appreciated. Glenn was responsive and clear with instructions throughout, which made check-in and communication smooth. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
