I really enjoyed my stay at this remote house. It was quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature and the hosts were great!—One of the best parts was seeing the Northern Lights right from the property. It was a magical experience. I would definitely come back again!

We had a great stay at The Green Garden Country Home. There were only 3 of us so we used only the upstairs portion. This would be perfect for a large family and there were many amenities for young children. The views out the front door were gorgeous. Follow the directions sent by the host. The map pin in the listing will take you closer to town. We had dinner at Kjarr (about a 12 minute drive from the house). A gas station is also right there if you need to fill up.

I highly recommend staying at Eyglo's place. Located in Vik, my favorite town in Iceland, this house has an excellent location -- an easy walk to a beautiful beach. Also a 5-minute walk to a heated pool, with sauna and hot tub. The town is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and the ocean and has a picturesque church in the center. For a small town, it has a large number of restaurants. It is also well located for seeing sites along Iceland's south coast. Eyglo was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at her place again if I have the chance.

So glad we were able to book this place when we did. Location was superb and just what we needed during our trip — right by the Víkurfjara Black Beach. The place is as it looked in the photos. As it was by the beach, we needed a broom/vaccuum to clean the floor due to the sand that got in because of our luggages. But Samuel was very responsive to our request and got that easily sorted out. Amenities provided were very mich sufficient for our stay. Thanks, Samuel, for providing us with a home during our 4 day-stay in Vík!

Tout était parfait. Notre arrivée au logement a été tardive, Audur a eu l'attention d'allumer le chauffage. Le logement est propre et tout le nécessaire est présent, voir plus ! (des poncho sont laissés a disposition) Idéalement situé sur le cercle d'or, beaucoup de cascades et de randonnés sont accessibles dans un rayon d'1h30. Audur est vraiment adorable et aux petits soins pour ses locataires. Nous recommandons vivement cette location !

Definitely the best place to stay in Island! The cabin is just amazing and lovely!

We had a fantastic stay at the Mosi Hut! Audur was super helpful in suggesting hikes and things to do in the area. She was incredibly welcoming and warm, making our stay so special! We would come back (Northern Lights trip?) and would definitely recommend Mosi Hut to our friends who are planning to visit Iceland! Thank you Audur, for making our trip so memorable.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und mit ganz viel Liebe hergerichtet. Die Gastfreundschaft, Kommunikation und Fürsorge ist herausragend. Die Küche ist sensationell ausgestattet, die Lage wunderschön und praktisch für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung. Auđur hatte hervorragende Wander-Tipps für uns. Wir haben uns wie im Paradies gefühlt. Fazit: Jederzeit sehr gerne wieder und uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

This was a convenient location and offered a beautiful view of the Icelandic sea. Amenities and check-in were very smooth, would recommend!
