I felt safe throughout my entire stay, which I was really thankful for as a solo traveler. Everyone was welcoming and warm (even their neighbors), and the entire place was as advertised. I'll be sure to come here again when I come back to Bohol.

lovely place, only a few rooms so it felt very quiet and peaceful. a short tuktuk into town costing just 15 pesos each. had a few language barrier issues with reception which was unusual on my travels to the Philippines but manageable. lovely resident dog called RJ, melted our hearts :) thank you so much

Pahiluna is such a wonderful and beautiful place to stay at. We’re immersed in a beautiful garden with big trees and super friendly staffs. Feels very much like home because of the safety and cleanness of the room, and the hospitality of the keeper’s family. Nice and simple breakfast with fruits everyday before the journey, a gate which we can enter by our own so no curfews at night. The keeper’s family lives at the spot so they’re able to provide help anytime needed. It’s so safe and feel like home that one of the days we even forgot to lock our door. We were able to book any trips, motorbikes from the keeper with honest and public pricing. Saving the hassle of comparing prices outside. It’s away from the busy area of Alona beach but still easy to get to with a motorbike or their scooter taxi. They also have two large dogs around the guesthouse, super cute and friendly. This is a place you come feeling awe and leave with many many friends.

Great place, friendly helpful staff and delicious breakfast every morning at your convenience. Arranged an excellent guide for me to go swim with the Whalesharks. Took all the stress off as he kept my spot in line as I went for coffee and rented swim fins for me as I waited. Also arranged a taxi ride to Moalboal for me. Were very very nice. Very few restaurants in the area other than street food places. Nearby mall has a food court that charges almost nothing and provides even smaller portions. Other than that which is out of their control, I had an amazing time.

Location & Car: The house is about tutu 25 minutes by car from Panglao Island International Airport The price is 250 pesos, 10 minutes by tutu to Alona Beach, the price is about 120. House environment: What you see is what you get, the house is very designed overall, very clean.There is a large living room on the first and second floors, the kitchen is an open area in the yard, room 1-3 is on the first floor, 4-6 is on the second floor, each room has its own balcony; Facilities: It is not suitable for people with high requirements for the Internet, they often can't brush the signal, it is not very good under the wifi environment, the house provides towels, bath towels, soap, there are no other toiletries, you need to bring your own, it is quite good, it is relatively environmentally friendly, and the surrounding environment is not particularly quiet for people who do not sleep well, because it is surrounded by villages, and there will be chickens and dogs; Personnel & communication: The caretaker will clean the yard every day, provide free breakfast to help with the ride, and be warm and polite.

Brenda is very nice ,She helped us to arrenge the tutu and the boat .Her house is very clean,and she make delicious cakes。Her husband is nice too ,We have a nice time there.

Enjoyed our stay in Emma’s place. Staff are approachable, room is worth the amount we paid for. You should try out their pancit and mango shake! Will definitely consider Emma’s place again when we go back to Bohol.

The place was super clean and well maintained. Room was super tidy and everything was working fine. The added breakfast was nice considering the price of the accommodation. Noreen was very responsive to every query i have regarding her place and Dumaguete and Banilad in general. OVI's staff were super helpful and accommodating as well, they provided tips on how to go around the place. Super love my stay, will definitely come back :)

The hosts went above and beyond to serve me and my friends. They take shifts to make sure their guests are attended even during the late hours of the night. Whatever we need, they provided. They even gave us free aids to our refreshments like ice, some glass for our drinks, plates and cutleries etc., even if it was already late. They also cleaned up after us even if we did not ask them to. We woke up next morning and all of our clutter were free, and we kinda felt embarrassed because we intended to come back for it the next morning. They were extremely polite and really treated us with utmost care and respect. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet and serene place, yet not too far from San Juan. We loved the host and will definitely book with them again. <3

Our total experience was amazing. Andre's wife ate joy and was so amazing and very accommodating in person. She makes sure we are comfortable and at the same time feel at home. The place is clean and full of plants. They both went the extra mile just to make us feel home while away from our home. I could say this place is one of the best place I've been able to stay. The food is expectedly delicious. For 150.00 you can share it with two people already. they Have plants, restobar and live stocks you can enjoy to watch. The Wifi Is good you can do WFH since the place is quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this place if you want to feel the essence of living at the province. Plus you may visit places around the place.

Though it wasn't a beachfront place, I can say that it's a nice place to stay since it has a peaceful ambience. The owner and staffs are friendly. I love the 24/7 coffee available and hot water as well as the heater is a plus points for me. I learned to travel a lot using trycabs so it's not an issue for me even it's 2km more or less to get to the Alona beach cuz it never gives me an hassles. The place was nice and I rest a lot without noise. No curfew so I enjoyed my time. So grateful to the owner. Thank you sir Ariel!

Host and staff are very kind and accommodating. Place is excellent and very nice. extremely clean as well. Free breakfast is superb. I would highly recommend this listing for those who wish to visit Dumaguete city especially near Valencia.

We had a really great stay here! The place is clean, nice, and peaceful—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It’s conveniently located near Larena Port, so getting there from the port was quick and easy. It’s also just a short ride away from San Juan, which is the more touristy area with lots of restaurants and beaches. The room is spacious enough for 6 people and has plenty of charging ports, which we really appreciated. It would’ve been perfect if there was at least one chair inside the room, but it’s still totally fine. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which is a big plus! The place is right by the roadside, which makes it very accessible. They also offer rides, so I recommend contacting them ahead of time to reserve. And they also offer free water which is a plus. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay! We will be back SOON!

Incredible place to stay while in Siquijor! The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable and the bed was great to sleep in! The bathroom is outdoors which took some getting used to but it is actually a great idea and very unique! The staff were all lovely and extremely accommodating, we arrived early and they were kind enough to allow us an earlier check in. There is also a restaurant and bar onsite which is super convenient. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Siquijor.

A proper guest house. Like they used to be. Very close to Cambugahay falls, which is unquestionably a must in the island. If you love animals, you will enjoy the company. Great value for money.
