She was a very nice and helpful host. She picked us up from the station and also pretty much left the entire house to us. She also had a wealth of information and recommendations about the nearby locations. Would visit again if I ever come back to Ghent.

The location was exceptional. A 9-minute walk into the heart of Ghent. And then you’re at the magnificent castle. It’s away from the bustle and especially the tourists (forgive me) who have a couple other squares where they congregate, but close enough to get to absolutely everything including two chocolatiers about 3 mins away! ( Very important if you’re in Belgium IMHO) I was greeted by Thierry’s son who then took me on a tour of the whole town. Wow! (And he’d just flown in from China earlier that day.) Real generosity of spirit. Bed and shower great and not just clean but super duper clean. The space is absolutely gorgeous and also well laid out. Some fun surprises, too. A pool table in the other “wing.” Loved my time there.

The place was exactly like it was described, very clean, amazing location, with everything included so you can have a good time. I spent my birthday there and I loved every second. I highly recommend if you want a relaxing place, far from the noice.

De woning is prachtig! De communicatie met de hoste verliep heel vlotjes! Tijdens ons verblijf was de grote badkamer niet ter beschikking omdat er een probleem was. Dit werd opvoorhand gecommuniceerd en ter compensatie kregen we een lekker flesje bubbels aangeboden! We brachten een bezoekje aan Gent, wat lekker dichtbij was! Tot onze overgrote spijt werd mijn partner onwel en diende we een dagje vroeger te vertrekken. Ik raad dit huisje enorm aan! Het is prachtig ingericht en de vijver is fantastisch! Misschien wel even vermelden dat er een spoorweg tegenover de woning is, maar daar heb je absoluut geen hinder van. Dank aan de hoste voor een leuk uitje!

Le logement d'Ann correspond à la description. L'endroit est vraiment paisible avec l avantage d'être proche de l'autoroute et des commerces alimentaires. Les grandes baies vitrées nous font profiter de la belle vue sur le lac. On se sent tout de suite bien chez Ann. Le salon de jardin sur le ponton pour un apéro avec ou sans baignade est un luxe en plus. Les coussins de confort sont accessibles facilement dans le cabanon. Bref, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans la maison chaleureuse d'Ann.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Ghent. Flore‘s schöne Penthouse-Wohnung liegt sehr zentral zwischen Bahnhof, Altstadt und Studentenviertel. Perfekt für ein verlängertes Wochenende!

Very pleasant place to say in the converted attic of an old farmhouse. The kitchen is excellently equipped, all in all the place is extremely nice. It is a bit off the beaten track; on the map the location looks closer to Ghent than the actual approach is, but on the plus side if you want a quiet place in a nature reserve, it is perfect. Bruno communicated extremely well and was overall a very helpful and accommodating host.

La maison est agréable, fonctionnelle, avec un beau salon et un assez vaste jardin. Elle est surtout nichée dans un quartier très résidentiel et fort paisible. Il y a toutefois à proximité des commerces de nécessité et des restaurants et... deux friteries. Nous avions le projet de découvrir Bruges et Gand, et pour cela, elle est fort bien placée. Tout était d'une propreté parfaite et toutes les indications nécessaires étaient fournies. C'est surtout un lieu chaleureux qui a une âme. Je recommande vivement.
