The romance of the Australian stock routes is imprinted into this site, where generations of stockmen boiled the billy before droving their cattle through the slip rails on their way home to Nannup. The Bootmaker's House is a charming workers cottage that has been lovingly restored. Originally a shop attached to the front, housed the J. Pickering Bootstore where the Bootmaker would sit and mend the towns boots. The shop no longer exists but the Bootmaker's House stands strong and ready to welcome you. Located in the heart of Nannup, everything is on your doorstep from shops and cafes to the meandering Blackwood River.
