Hostel vacation rentals in Shimane

I had a really great stay and lots of fun It's cozy and has everything you need. So far everything was clean.

Everything was great! We felt very welcome. And the rabbit "Lappy" is very sweet. We would stay there again.

It is great for children next to Gitaro Street, the Adachi Museum of Art was also close to Yonago Kitaro Airport and 20 minutes by car, the building is old but the interior is renovated and the accommodation is no problem, there is a very pleasant meal next door and a very pleasant mom cooks with a 500 yen meal ticket from Ken in the morning, and we can enjoy it at a shop where you can enjoy alcohol and snacks and karaoke at night.

Super close the station, friendly staff and close to everything (less than 30 min walking to Peace museum and park)

I’m not a fan of shared bathrooms but as the ensuite ones were taken, there wasn’t a choice - Ks House took my fear of shared bathrooms away, the spaces were sparkling clean! Room was clean and cosy and I slept well. We took the room for four but there were only two of us so it was comfortable. I don’t think it would have been as comfortable for four, maybe three max. Location was great (about 10min walk to Hiroshima station) and there was an elevator in the building. Will not hesitate recommending this place to family and friends!

Wonderful stay with Hiro. Expect a basic, but sufficiently comfortable guesthouse with communal sanitary facilities (shower and toilet), kitchen and relaxation area. The room we stayed in (highest floor) was a very spacious room with tatami floor and (very comfortable) futons to sleep on. For 2 people this was very spacious. The stairs up are style and tight, so large suitcases are hard to get upstairs. In general, it was certainly sufficiently clean, but not like a hotel. It is not new, everything has already been used and you can see that. You have to come here because of Hiro himself, this is really a TOP host. Speaks very good English (to Japanese standards) and is very accessible. We greatly enjoyed the evening where he taught us to make the local Okonomyachi. Wonderful, fun, educational => must do!

An excellent hostel 10 minutes walk away from Hiroshima station and close to public transport, shops and entertainment. Highly recommend it if you want somewhere to stay with a good atmosphere in the evening, relaxed shared spaces and top rating for cleanliness

There is a room on multiple floors, and I was a little lost without knowing that I went to the 6th floor where the reception was first.However, the host was very polite, the room and shared shower were very clean, and the stay was satisfactory.

Hosts are a couple who run a ramen restaurant a little further down the street. Really very friendly and responsive. The ramen was good. The guesthouse consists of 3 bedrooms. Shared toilet, kitchen, and bathroom. Hosts don't live in the guesthouse. We had a nice stay with 4 with two children. The guesthouse is really next to the castle.

Me and my friend spent 2 nights at Kanako’s place. It was gorgeous, and very peaceful. Kanako is very sweet! And the cafe inside the building was wonderful as well. とても楽しかった！

We stayed one night in Santiago Guesthouse, because we wanted to visit the Peace Memorial Museum. Just a 10 minutes walk from the middle of Hiroshima. :) It's a bit like being in a student bar, handcrafted and flea market furniture with comfy sofas and a big kitchen space with Balcony. The room was simple, some old stains on the ground. That's okay for us. ;)

Great place for backpackers !

There was a space for interaction, and I enjoyed communicating with locals and other guests. I also appreciated the free services such as bread, coffee, and yogurt.

Everything was as described. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to leave early for Miyajima the next morning. Very clean and welcoming!

The owners were extremely nice and cooked delicious ramen! I felt at home in their airbnb. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It's also very close to a lot of sight seeing places! Thank you

A great sharehouse with great hosts. They speak some English, which is helpful. The living area is also equipped with all the things you need and is a great place to stay, Definitely recommended!

I used it for the first time. It was within walking distance of the station, and there was also an izakaya street, making it convenient. The reception is a little lost, but there was no trouble because they gave me information about the location and other information in advance. They told me about the linked shops, so I was able to go to restaurants smoothly. The facility itself was very beautiful and I was able to use it comfortably.

The owner was friendly and friendly people who were friendly and easy to talk to.There is also a supermarket nearby. The room is clean and easy to use as shown in the photos. Maybe it's cheaper to book directly. It is a recommended accommodation.

I enjoyed my time at Hazz’s place and I would be happy to stay there again! The rooms were clean and quiet, but you can socialize in the common are if you want. The location was great - very walkable and close to public transit too. Great stay!

Hazuki san‘s accomodation is very beautiful and offers everything you need, when you want to visit Hiroshima. The staff is very nice and friendly and the atmosphere with them and through them is very comfortable. The kitchen is (as far as I am capable of grading that) very well equipped, but there are soooo many nice cafés and restaurants near by that you might prefer to check them out during your stay anyways. I especially enjoyed the design choices when it comes to the interior! There was even Christmas decoration! You really should spent your time in Hiroshima at the Evergreen Hostel💚 Thank you soooo much and have a nice winter/christmas time!
