very nice experience at the cottage - kids liked it and we had lots of games and puzzles to do on a rainy day. interior stair will be remebered :) saw lots of deer and two wild turkeys every day on the gravel road to keep in mind when driving. ski is few minutes alway with a car. most of the close by restaurants (30min away) open after thursdays, so we were goint at the owls head hotel restaurant- not bad but need reservation on a busy days. overall excelent 5 day ski vacation. kuddos to the owner.

We had a super stay! The house is very well laid out and everything was there for us!!

Everything was really great ! We really liked the chalet , MJ always answered us fast and was super kind. The chalet is very well located, we have direct access to the lake and the bike trail just in front of the house. Everything was perfect, the rooms with really comfortable beds, the kitchen with everything you need to cook like a chef, the balcony with a barbecue and a good view for the sunset! Thank you very much, we had such an amazing time there and can’t wait to be back :)

This place is as advertised. We immediately felt at ease upon entering the place. It is a cozy European style chalet that is close to skiing and the village. We are already planning a return next winter.

Such a gem! So happy we found this very private spot. It was perfect for our weekend away with our family and our dogs. Home was super cute, VERY clean and truly one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed in as far as amenities. There were so many fresh clean towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and TONS of linens like extra blankets (I usually freeze in bed), even basic kitchen supplies. Got to meet the owner briefly and she is a DOLL! If we have the chance to stay in this area again, we would definitely go back! Don't hesitate if you like quiet private surroundings. Oh and the view out the living room window was the icing on the cake! Thank you for a great stay!

Second visit in last three years. As usual, Patrick hospitality was great. We choose this house as soon as our family and friends group want to away from Montreal and allow kids to enjoy the break/holidays. This house fulfil everyone needs from 5 to 50 year old in our group. I recommend this to families and friends group to have wonderful evening and late evening dinner and talk. The village was very quite but reachable from near by towns. thanks Patrick. Hope to see you again !

The space is cozy and perfect for a nature retreat. Communication was clear and I was easily able to contact Jean-Thomas when I had trouble finding the place (in the middle of a snowstorm, I must say!). The surrounding trails are beautiful and well maintained!

The place is beautiful. It preserves a historic building with an extension above. The terrace was superb and had a lake view. Everything was perfect, we would have liked to have more time at the cottage to enjoy it more. I recommend it.

Sophie's chalet worked out very well for our group. We were 9 guys on a golf trip and it was suitable for our needs. Sophie was very responsive when needed. If we go back to Orford I would definitely stay again

We had a great time! Everything is well thought out in the cottage with small touches so that we have a good time. The beds were very comfortable, full of kitchen items available. The living room was friendly. I would highly recommend it.

This home was absolutely wonderful and met every single need. The kitchen was as well stocked as our own home so baking/cooking was a breeze. We loved the dining table to gather around for a family brunch and the kitchen island was a dream to work at. The entire setup of the home made it extremely easy for our family to stay organized and every homeowner needs a front entrance like this one! Will definitely be back - thank you!

Amazing attention to detail. Truly the most thoughtful host I've ever had. The yard and lake is gorgeous and super private. Would come back again. Kitchen is well stacked, they even had a lemon squeezer! We went in early June and there were minimal bugs (other than a couple mosquitos at night fall). Overall a 10/10.

Kelly's place is very cozy and the view of the lake is peaceful and you see the lake from pretty much everwhere in the cottage. Location is great: 5 minutes from Dunham for immediate needs. Dunham is pretty central if you want to visit all the different towns in the eastern townships. It is like 30 minutes (or even less) to the major ones (sutton, lake brome, knowlton, frelighsburg, bromont, granby). Tall people might want to be careful since the cottage has angle roofs so you might bump your head a bit. hehehe Kitchen was very functional, with everything you need.

Thank you to Mylène for sharing her peaceful and charming cottage! We were visiting for a graduation at Bishop’s, and the location was perfect for our family to gather and celebrate together. One note for future guests: there are 30+ steep stairs leading to the cottage, which may not be suitable for everyone. It would be helpful to highlight this in the listing for accessibility awareness. That said, it wasn’t an issue for our group, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lake was beautiful and serene—an ideal spot for a quiet getaway. Thank you again!

The perfect spot for a large group of family or friends. Very clean, lots of extras (games, basic food supplies, etc). Great lake access and an awesome deck.

We had a great weekend in this cottage! The lake view is really beautiful, you can't get any closer to a lake! The place is very peaceful, no noise, very quiet, a real haven of peace to disconnect! We'll be happy to go back. 😊

We love our stay in North Hatley. Jean Francois is a perfect host. Despite being in close proximity to Jean Francois's own house, the rental cabin is nestled next to a large tract of woods and has a private feel. Deer roam around the back yard. There's outdoor deck with dining table and a hot tub. The village is a short walk through a park that runs along the river.

Great spot for groups, plenty of space, host was very flexible with check in and out and easy to reach
