Dawrosbeg, Letterfrack

One of the quietest places I’ve ever slept in. The views from the house are stunning. I’d recommend the view from above the raised beds looking out to the mountains, really beautiful! Patricia was lovely to chat to as we were keen to know more about the area. The actual space was bigger than we expected, the bedroom was big and super comfy. Had everything we needed and was a lovely temperature. Shower is great, good instructions on how everything works - 1 tip: have it on eco when getting the temperature you need, I like it quite hot and that’s the easiest way to do it. Shower is a nice size and it’s a cute en suite. Kitchen has everything you need, there were 2 of us so made 2 cafetières of coffee which worked perfectly. The dining room/ lounge has all the basics you need. We were out most days exploring and coming back to this comfy place with a lovely host was just the ticket. We would love to return!
A collage features various views of the hostel. A wooden floor displays a compass design at the center. Colorful doors in shades of turquoise and orange are adorned with plants. The hostel exterior showcases a stone facade with plants and decorative art. The welcoming entrance can be seen.

"Connemara Bunkbed for 1"

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This hostel attracts the most amazing people! I met so many interesting, kind, and welcoming travelers during my stay. I made friends that I will never forget. Sharing Stephen’s delicious breakfast with new friends is a great part of the experience. The beds are comfortable and the vibe is exhilarating. Nestled alongside Connemara National Park, the hostel provides access to beautiful destinations just outside your doorstep. There is also a beautiful beach nearby and delicious restaurants with live music. The country store has everything this you need and is walking distance as is the bus stop with frequent departures along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Come stay in stunning Connemara! #2

ElodieRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a very pleasant night at Mairead and Dennis' place. The accommodation had everything we needed and the bed was really good quality, which was very appreciable after the long hike we did. The accommodation is conveniently located about a 10 minute drive to the famous Connemara Lakes. We had the opportunity to chat with Dennis at breakfast. He's a very kind and friendly person. In addition, he is a very good painter, he was able to decorate his house with great taste. I highly recommend their accommodation, don't hesitate. Ronnie (their dog) is also a very nice boy. Thanks again!

It was our second stay at Breandans B&B, last time we were so sad to leave after two nights that we chose to stay for five nights this time. Breandan is a lovely, interested and helpful host who gave us many great recommendations for hikes, things to do and restaurants. We enjoyed our conversations and the friendly atmosphere in Breandans beautiful house and garden. Thank you for everything!

The bedroom with 2 single beds and small private bathroom is well located for visiting Connemara. 2 good places to dine 5 minutes' drive away. Breakfast is generous and served with a great view. Christine's warm welcome and recommendations are very much appreciated. Access is easy and you can park your car on site. Will be back without hesitation
