The cottage guesthouse

I stayed here over the long weekend whilst I was sorting out my new block and house build. I can’t thank Joesette enough, her instructions were super clear and easy to follow. She was there to greet me when I arrived. The place was such a cosy and peaceful place to retreat to after days of exploring. It was in a great spot and only a few minutes into the town of Gympie. I can’t recommend the place high enough.

The Cabin, Pie Creek

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely views either down to the dam or across the fields and trees. Very relaxing atmosphere, yet so close to Gympie town centre. If we had stayed longer than 2 nights we would have enjoyed a BBQ on the balcony and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.

Delightful timber cabin in the bush - "The Haven"

I've found my best stay ever and I will be back! It was heavenly. Anita is amazing, so helpful and so kind. Even though it's a private space, if you need anything, she's not too far away This is for you if you need to be immersed in nature, disconnect from the world and drop into your body. Lots of animals, creeks & trails. A few tips for other travellers: Bring your own firewood ,arrive in the day time - it's not an area you want to be driving once it's dark (animals, creeks, rough terrain) I didn't have a 4WD, I used an SUV and it was fine -it would be fine if you came in dry season and are an experienced driver with loose rocks & wet ground. Either way, this is not a terrain for low vehicles. If it's rainy season,5000% you need a 4WD. The cabin has everything for cooking, it's clean, smells very nice and homey. Aircon runs on the solar panels so works only specific times during the day. It truly is a land of restoration. My only regret: I didn't bring snacks for the animals
