Blackhorse Cabin

Quant little cabin nestled high enough in the mountain to view Mt Alice from the front porch and still close enough to the town of Seward. There is a queen bed and a futon. The love seat reclines also. There is a fire pit you are free to use and some bikes hang from the deck of the main house feel free to use those. The house is located up the mountain but the road can be heard from the cabin. The queen bed and twin futon are located in the same room. One guest complained the area was to small.

There is a shower in the home that will give you approximately 10 minutes of water with judicial use. A normal flushing toilet is in a seperate, shared building adjacent to the home.

First of all...We are a retired military couple with one of the longest running nightly rentals in this area! We try very hard to make sure you have a great stay, and we feel our 4.9+ Star rating shows that! Now for the Bristol Bay Cabin….. This 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is perfect for a couple! There is a fully furnished kitchen, a full bath, queen bed with closet in the bedroom and leather couch with USB ports , wifi TV, and wifi provided.

With its true cabin form it was built as a "Dry Cabin". In 2011 utilities were added. Staying here you will enjoy the comforts of the modern world but also the coziness of a rustic log cabin.

We loved this little cabin, the only thing that stood out a little different than we were expecting was the “ocean front” aspect. We thought we were going to be staring at the coast from our doors. There was another building between us and the coast but it was still so close and accessible. The place was clean, close to Seward, and had a book full of local recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Would stay here again!

This was just perfect! I could not have picked a better stay in Seward. Friendly hosts and the view is even better in person. Binoculars are recommended if you want to spot the wildlife. My favorite was the family of otters. The small kitchenette was just what we needed to cook for our group of 3. Thank you for a great experience!

The view from our patio was one of a kind. we could watch otters and seals from our patio while we had our coffee. The Airbnb was spotless and looked renovated and brand new. we had everything we needed and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The cabin was great, hosts are fantastic, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity while in Cooper Landing or passing thru.

Beautiful camp spot! The spots are all in a row along the lake and it was pretty private for the most part. We even saw a Moose and her baby across the lake! about 12 minutes from downtown Seward. You can enjoy all that Seward offers then go off to your own little hidden area.
