The cottage near the lake

The cottage by the lake is a charming self contained chalet that boasts both modern clean lines and that warm traditional Portuguese feel. This sweet little chalet is ideal for couples or has a sofa bed to sleep up to 3 people. A spacious clean and modern bathroom is adjacent to the sleeping area which has a great double bed, space to hang clothes and a lovely view of the front garden. There is a modern yet rustic kitchen that includes a microwave, fridge, double hob and basic amenities. There is a dining space for meals and a huge flat screen!! At the front of the chalet is a seating space for two and around to the side a large eating area with a beautiful wall mural, barbecue and large table and benches beneath the grapes vines. 🍇 A quaint and luxurious place to relax in peace and take in the view and only minutes from the town of Pedrogao Grande which has plenty of bars, restaurants a supermarket and many other amenities. Just a 2 hour journey to both Lisbon and porto airports and just 40 minutes to the beautiful city of coimbra. A daily breakfast is also included

Agro-turismo Quinta da Fonte is a small rural campsite for camping with your OWN TENT. We also have guest rooms, a cottage, rental tents and a romantic caravan, see our other adds on Airbnb. There is a small superb restaurant on the site, on request we cook 6 days a week for our guests (all diets, vegetarian, vegan, allergies), tuesday and thursday the restaurant is closed. You can come and camp with your own tent on the lovely meadow next to the small stream.

one of the most special Airbnbs I have had on my many travels. This is truly a gem of a find. Loved everything about our stay. Wish we had been able to stay longer but hope to return someday.

Beautiful, clean house, stylishly decorated. Food for breakfast was in the fridge, with fresh bread a croissants delivered in the morning. Owners recommended us a restaurant nearby for dinner, where there was a great chef - Taberna Dos Sabores. It was a great experience. Only issue was with the Wi-Fi which did not work, but we did not mind.

Wir hatten eine hervorragende Zeit im 'casal frias'. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gelegen, das Grundstück einzigartig und privat - der Pool war super sauber und das Frühstück klasse. Wir waren mit einem kleinen Kind unterwegs - es gab ein Babybett und super Hochstuhl. Der Poolbereich kann mit Toren abgeschlossen werden, so dass Kleinkinder nicht unbeaufsichtigt ans Wasser gelangen.

Os donos da casa eram incríveis muito simpáticos, muito disponíveis, sempre dispostos a ajudar e a tornar a nossa estadia incrível, que foi. São uma família maravilhosa! Escolhemos esta casa para passar a passagem de ano e voltaríamos a fazê-lo sem dúvidas. A casa para além de bem decorada é muito confortável e repleta de tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia incrível. Castanheira é uma zona muito fria, mas com certeza que as lareiras disponibilizadas, tanto interior como exterior, tornaram tudo mais mágico e quentinho. A cereja no topo do bolo foi o pequeno almoço entregue no dia 1, com variedade e qualidade, a um preço muito simpático. Foi tudo perfeito, adorámos muito ❤️

Carolyn's place is located near Tomar but outside the busy town. The area is beautiful. It is close the the train station. She and her husband are friendly and personable. We really enjoyed our stay of 2 weeks.
