Wonderful place with fantastic views. Very near Mértola, a great town to visit and with amazing restaurants.

Monsaraz is such a charming hilltop village in the Alentejo region! Jose Luis' accommodations is in the heart of the village, on the main street and just below the castle! The accommodations are very spacious, with the living, dining and kitchen areas feeling very homey! The views of the castle and the valley below from the rear terrace are amazing! This is also a haven for cat lovers, as we had several feline friends hang out on the terrace! Just be mindful of not letting them inside! This is truly the best accommodations in Monsaraz!

Aldeia pacata junto ao Alqueva, perfeita para dois dias quentes no início de Junho. A casa é enorme e linda de morrer... Adorámos o entardecer no pátio, e o céu constantemente a ser rasgado por andorinhas, cegonhas e pavões... Perfeito para recarregar baterias, soube a pouco. Obrigada!

Authentic and beautiful place with an amazing view from the backyard. Monsaraz is one of the nicest villages in the neighborhood. All recommendations for both the location and accommodation.

Excelente alojamento numa zona tranquila e agradável. A casa é muito acolhedora, cuidadosamente decorada e equipada com tudo o que é preciso para uma estadia confortável. Á chegada a casa estava bastante limpa e organizada. O terraço é perfeito para relaxar, aproveitar o sol e refrescar no tanque. A repetir, seguramente!

Rita’s home is stunning. The kitchen is perfect for whatever you need from just stocking snacks to cooking a full meal (which we did). The beds were all very comfortable with wonderful linens, extra pillows and additional duvets in the closet. The bathroom is very well done and has very soft towels and the shower had great pressure. The ambiance of the entire home is amazing with the fireplace, the loft, the kitchen overlooking the living room - we could not have asked for more! Rita is an attentive host and is very quick to respond to any question or concerns. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Beja.

Het leuke kleine huisje met fijne tuin en prachtig uitzicht waren geweldig om een paar nachten in Monsaraz te verblijven. Wij vermoeden dat het qua seizoen nog vrij rustig was, er leken nog niet alle restaurants open bijvoorbeeld, maar wij vonden het juist heerlijk dat het nog rustig was. We hebben genoten van de sterrennachten en een dag Evora bezocht.

Francisco was a really nice host who met us on arrival and took time to explain the local sites to us which is he really passionate about. He also left us a bottle of wine which was very much appreciated. The house is exactly as shown in the advertisement and is a perfect size for a couple. It has a good sized bedroom area that opens out into a living room with a large couch and tv. The kitchen is adjacent to the living room and has everything you need for cooking, making breakfast, coffee or tea etc. The bathroom is very clean and the shower has good water pressure and immediately hot water. The upstairs external patio is also an excellent addition with magical views over the adjacent vineyard and nearby landscape. The whole house has been lovingly restored which is visible in the detailing and how everything sits together aesthetically. We would have no hesitation recommending this hope to return again. 💯

estive neste empreendimento durante uma semana e simplesmente adorei! o apartamento era fantástico , limpo e com tudo o que era necessário para utilizar na cozinha (maquina de café, torradeira, chaleira elétrica , mini forno eléctrico, microondas, placa vitro cerâmica e frigorífico). a piscina comum a todos os apartamentos em zona resguardada e muito boa e com boa zona de solário! O Sr. Ricardo sempre responsivo por mensagem e a empregada Ana simplesmente fantástica,sempre disponível para algo que fosse necessário. para mim foi o sítio ideal para descansar, trabalho o ano todo com o atendimento ao público e aqui consegui isolar-me ! a uma distância aceitável (10 minutos de carro) de Mértola onde conseguimos adquirir tudo o que precisamos! também temos a praia fluvial de minas de São domingos a cerca de 30 minutos de carro onde encontramos zona de praia e pic nic onde também existe um snacks bar e tem vigia de nadadores salva vida! simplesmente adorei a região! hei-de voltar!

Sem dúvida uma experiência a repetir. Espaço muito agradável!

Absolutely beautiful! A must stay! Nice little gift basket, super clean and just amazing. Super comfy beds and plenty of space. If you go in the summer there is a pool and a fire pit area. So much outside entertainment areas. Good food restaurant recommendations. Easy access to the wineries, Monsaraz and Evora. Dora was very responsive. Thank you Dora!

Casa muito limpa, muito bem equipada e com excelente paisagem em seu redor. Sitio muito agradável para quem pretende descansar e apreciar um maravilhoso pôr do Sol. saliente a simpatia e disponibilidade do Sr. Armando. Havemos de voltar.

Excelente imóvel e localização. Adoramos a piscina, há muito espaço para uma família se acomodar bem. Apartamento muito bem cuidado exatamente como nas fotos, a limpeza estava impecável! Sérgio foi um excelente anfitrião, atencioso do começo ao fim, com certeza teremos o prazer de voltar outras vezes!

Awesome place to rest and have a few relaxing days. River beach close by if you want to go for a swim in Alqueva. Perfect if you want to be away from a big crowd!

La casa è tipica della zona dell’Alentejo, è una casa di campagna in mezzo ai campi in un paesino caratteristico e dove tutti si conoscono fra loro. Ci si sente subito a casa! La casa è molto spaziosa e pulita, sia le camere, sia i bagni sia soggiorno e cucina hanno spazio per tutti. La cosa più stupenda è il cortile molto spazioso, con possibilità di mangiare all’aperto e con un asinello come vicino di casa che verrà a fare visita per avere un po’ di cibo. La vicina di casa che si occupa del check in è disponibile ad aiutare e dare un sacco di informazioni. Esperienza stupenda!

Amazing apartment! It is bright, spacious, beautifully designed and had all the amenities we needed. We had a great time and can fully recommend a stay :)

Espaço indicado para quem, em família ou entre amigos, procura a calma, paz e silêncio com privacidade e todas as comodidades necessárias. Herdade muito bem conservada e cuidada. Excelente piscina comum. Para os amantes de caminhadas, local ideal. Em relação à casa, não podia ser melhor, ampla, soalheira e uma pequena piscina para os dias mais quentes. Un lugar maravilloso donde pasar unos días con amigos. Tranquilidad y desconexión. La villa es tal y como se muestra en las fotos. Tienes de todo lo que puedas necesitar para cocinar. Los colchones, almohadas y toallas buenísimos! Desde el inicio de la reserva Rui nos dio todo tipo de facilidades y atención. Joana muy amable. Repetiremos sin duda! Mil gracias
