Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

Barossa 1900 Vineyard Retreat

Barossa 1900 offers luxury vineyard accommodation for 10 people in the Barossa Valley, one hour’s drive from Adelaide. The private two-acre property is home to some of the Barossa’s oldest dry-grown Grenache grapes and is located a short walk to cellar doors, restaurants, breweries and retail shopping in Tanunda. As a sister property to Barossa 1900 Homestead, together these two properties sleep 18 people. We offer generous inclusions and private winemaker tastings by appointment.

‘Para River Cottage’ Built in 1920 overlooking the gum studded cliff face of the North Para River, this quaint and cosy cottage has been elegantly restored for your fulfilment. Embrace the quiet rural feel of native birdsong and scattered sheep across the way, all whilst being within a short stroll of the heart of Tanunda. It’s a great spot to discover the Barossa Valley and a lovely neighbourhood. I have so many great memories here, and I’m convinced that you will too.

Pepper Tree Farm is a peaceful retreat nestled on the border of the Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley. Families will love meeting the miniature goats, donkey, sheep, chooks and friendly resident dogs. Originally built by hand in the 1970s and lovingly restored over the past year, this place is a rich, thoughtful one that you won't want to leave. Think floor to ceiling wood, board games aplenty, cozy flax-linen sheets, birdsong and the call of native birds as you rest and recharge.
