We are a couple who are committed to living in these mountains and decided to restore an old house respecting the original materials - stone and chestnut wood. O Sequeiro da Fonte is a stone building where chestnuts were formerly dried in the Courel area. It has spectacular views of the Sierra do Courel, an ideal area to rest and hike. You can enjoy the river and tranquility, both in winter and summer. It is an isolated slate stone construction with a capacity for four people, although ideal for two. It has basic but cozy amenities.
