There are good conditions for sea fishing, ice climbing, and mountain tours and observation of the northern lights. Little light pollution. In winter there is a ski slope right by the cabin and many mountain peaks for randone that are within reach. Possibility to rent a boat for fishing from Senja Arctic Lodge or Senja Fjordhotell (must be booked separately).

Perfect for seeing the northern lights in winter, and hiking in the mountains in summer! Quiet and peaceful neighborhood! There are many nice mountain trips in the area. Such as Segla, Hesten, Keipen and Astrindtinden.

The house is located in beautiful surroundings in magnificent nature, here you will find tranquility. It was my grandparents' small farm, and it gives a sense of nostalgia. The place is in the immediate vicinity of mountains and a lake that is experienced quite private. There are salmon-bearing rivers and small game hunting for those who like to fish or hunt. (See other information). From September to April, Senja is one of the best places in the world to see the northern lights in clear weather, we are located under the northern lights oval.

Senja sea house

Recharge your batteries at this nostalgic and quiet accommodation. The house is from the 1950s, has four bedrooms, one on the 1st floor and three on the 2nd floor. The house is simply equipped, newly renovated kitchen and heated with a heat pump. Electric car chargers are also available for guests. Here you can enjoy the sea view in the immediate vicinity of the beach, the sea and the mountains, including the Husfjellet mountain nearby. There is a rich wildlife around the house and if you are lucky you can spot hare, otters or seals.

The trail is 30 km, with day trip cabin, ski cabin and 6 km light trail. Ski resorts with gapahuker can be found at Silsand. Silsand is about 2.2 km away, and here you can take a trip to the Frisbee golf course with 18 holes.

The appartement has an amazing view and the northern light can be seen from outside the house when the skies are clear. We are located 35 minutes from Tromsø airport, on Kvaløya. The perfect starting point if you are here to experience our beautifull nature, northern lights or the midnight sun. We have a dog that is a big fan of new people and is often outside. we recommend renting a car. The nearest shop is Eide handel, 20 minutes away. Sommarøya is 30 minutes away. We hope to see you!
