Family-friendly vacation rentals in Senegal

We had a WONDERFUL stay at this beautiful villa, ideally located in a clean, secure, flowery and peaceful residence. The environment is perfect for relaxing, with the beach nearby and a swimming pool... feet in the water!!!!! The house itself is spacious and well arranged, with quality services. The size of the rooms is perfectly suited to the number of people accommodated, and the outside is a haven of peace where life is good. A big thank you to Marie, the housekeeper, who was very nice and responsive, especially for preparing meals. Their attentions contributed a lot to our comfort. Finally, the exchanges with Laurence, the owner, were fluid and fast, which made our experience even more enjoyable. This villa is, without a doubt, for us the best placed to fully enjoy the exceptional setting. It feels like home, and we can't wait to go back!

This is now our “home” away from home. This is our 5th visit to Joel ‘s beautiful and peaceful place, like our sanctuary, waken up by the sound of the birds in the morning and enjoying the blue and clean water of swimming pool. We barely needed to get out of the house and when we did, the beach was just few minutes away. There is no other place we trust to fit our needs better than Joel’s house. We are already planning our next trip and cannot wait for it soon.

A gorgeous house in a stunning setting. But I wouldn’t have got in the jacuzzi…

Nice secure, and clean location. The pictures are not 100% accurate but overall it is a very nice apartment. Not A Villa with a pool attachment. You cannot see the pool from the apartment it is a community pool not a private pool. The downstairs living room has a patio with an ocean view, also the upstairs master has a balcony with an ocean view. The Patio furniture is different from the pics. I think an update to the pics and descriptions will help this host especially at the rates he is expecting.

Villa de Tima is a peaceful haven with a pool and very nice rooms and a cathedral ceiling. It feels like home, and ideally located with a shop and restaurants nearby and the beach, it's a little paradise. Thank you for allowing me to stay one day before my departure at the airport. I had already come before and was always so well looked after by the caretaker and the hosts, who were very available on the phone. friendly Nicolas

Second stay at Am's a few years apart, very nice garden, secure! And easy and accessible location even if not off the island!

This is a beautiful, secure, and well maintained oasis! Our family stayed for months. The host is responsive and provides premier hospitality. Absolutely enjoyed our time here.

Family stay. We had an exceptional stay at this place! The place is clean, well decorated and perfectly equipped to ensure optimal comfort. The 2 house staff Adama and Diarra are very welcoming, available and discreet. Valerie, the host is very available despite the fact that she does not reside on the premises. The location is close to the beach, we were lulled by the sound of the waves; which made our stay even more enjoyable. A real cocoon where you can feel at home! We will come back without hesitation and highly recommend this property.

Spent a lovely time in Popenguine relaxing in a home away from home. Nothing to fault at all in the accommodation. Ablaye and Khady were great and at hand if anything was needed. Lication fantastic for being on your own, but close enough to go further up to a more touristic beach. Loved hearing the waves and seeing the fishermen go out on the water in the morning and children playing on the beach. Highly recommended. Thank you Angela 😊

The place was as described. Morcoumba, the manager is lovely-- very helpful and kind--and he prepares delicious food! It would have been helpful to have a pin of the location (especially if you don't speak French) but we had no problems because Mor helped us.

Maimouna was very responsive during the stay. The caretaker is there if needed and also El hadj. The accommodation was spotless, the pool is a real plus; very quiet environment. The accommodation is a 10-minute walk to the beach and very good restaurants are nearby. I would come back without hesitation. Thank you, Maimouna 😊

A magnificent haven of peace, green and flowery, where the tranquility is absolute 🙏both near the magnificent swimming pool and in the comfortable accommodation offered!You feel good, at peace with this chance to be able to quickly reach the typical and lively shopping center of the village. If you want to go to the sea and more particularly to the Lagoon (wild nugget of the Somone), then walk a little and you are there in wonder.✨✨The caring and very discreet hosts will be there to welcome you with their kindness and joie de vivre. Very good stay with Jean-François. The host is very kind, welcoming, responsive and very available. The place is better than the pictures. Everything is well thought out to facilitate everyday life, the house is very well-equipped. The pool is really beautiful, not to mention the beautiful green lawn all around, with the birds chirping that lull you to sleep when you wake up. We don't forget the beautiful wild beach about 100 meters from the accommodation, within walking distance. 🤩 We really enjoyed the comfort and especially the security, with guards who watch over everything… ideal place for a small family or just to be disconnected. Go without a second thought, I would definitely recommend it.

We had a great weekend (2 nights) in Popenguine thanks to AirBnB! Next to the beach and the national park (which we enjoyed for a short family hike). Only nuisance: lots and lots of mosquitoes inside the house on arrival! and not enough spray/anti-mosquito products. Remember to bring your sprays ;) Otherwise, excellent value!! To be repeated :)

Roberte's home matches the photos. It is very well maintained, we feel that the owner invests in her house! The welcome was impeccable, Cheikh and Marietou went out of their way to facilitate our stay. The children felt comfortable , beautiful pool and close to all amenities! Thank you for a pleasant stay! We had a fantastic, super relaxing stay. The house, garden and pool are stunning, looking even better then on the pictures. The garden and pool are very well maintained, and the house is very nicely decorated, while also very practical. Loved the different seating areas in the garden – pool area. Fantastic direct access to the beach. Sophie and Moussa are both excellent and very kind. I highly recommend staying here and hope to come back myself. Pia
