Beautiful location with graat and easy access to the amazing towns of Thomas and Davis as well as the beautiful Canaan Valley and surrounding region. Zygmund was a wonderful host who took my numerous mistakes in stride working with me to resolve them. Communication was an absolute breeze. I highly recommend this location and host!

Explorers Escape: Modern home in heart of Davis!

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay at Mjs place; as before we had a great time and recommend. The place comfortably fits four; the kitchen is well stocked; the place was clean. The airbnb is a 5 minute walk from downtown (there are a few restaurants and touristy bits), and a 5-10 minute drive from Blackwater Falls State Park. Great location for a peaceful getaway. Thanks for hosting us (again)!

River House: A Cozy Mountain Getaway

LoisRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Overall we had a wonderful time at Jennifer and Rodney’s place. It was exactly as described and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the time spent on the back porch and around the fire pit. Unfortunately the weather was not very cooperative and we were not able to get out and enjoy the trails as much as we would have liked. Also we were 1 week too early and most attractions in the area were not operating during the week days. I was concerned about getting a good sleep on the mattress but managed to sleep through each night. I would recommend that anyone wanting to cook something without it sticking to the well worn pans bring along their own as the ones in the kitchen are well past their prime. Thank you Jennifer and Rodney for providing this great getaway spot.

Ski Chalet Cabin Canaan Valley 35 -Dog Friendly

AnneRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a very nice stay at Michael’s cabin. It was perfectly clean and very well appointed. I had everything I needed in the kitchen. We slept well on the comfy beds. We were so excited to find such a dog friendly place to stay, so convenient to the places we wanted to visit. It is a small cabin, but had enough room for a couple with a big dog to be comfortable. Michael is a generous host and I would not hesitate to book with him again.

LabOUR of Love Lodge. BRAND NEW, Rustic & Unique

FrancesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Merry Jo's place was a beautiful, clean and comfortable mountain home with stunning views. It is extremely private and peaceful (I think we saw one vehicle during our stay), and a great place to relax, meditate, and refresh. True escape! We saw deer daily and enjoyed the hiking nearby. It is close to restaurants (Davis, WVa) but the kitchen was well-stocked and we did cook out a few times. Merry Jo is a wonderful host, and she is quick to answer all of our questions, etc. We highly recommend and hope to visit again in the near future.

Grain bin turned into tiny home!

Katilyn Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I really enjoyed staying here. There were so many thoughtful little details that caught my eye throughout the stay. I loved that it was pet friendly, and the photos of the host’s pets added such a warm, personal touch. I didn’t bring my dog this time, but I definitely would in the future and would recommend this spot to fellow pet owners. The gas grill and fireplace were fully stocked, which was much appreciated. It was also nice to have condiments and essentials available in the kitchen—it made everything feel easy and welcoming
