SouthView 2

We had a wonderful stay at SouthView! It is conveniently located - just a 10 to 12-minute walk to the Hornbill Festival. The breakfast is excellent, and Neteno also prepares delicious homemade dishes upon request. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Kohima.

Stany and his family are wonderful hosts who display a lot of warmth and affection. It gives great pleasure to see how Stany is building this brick by brick, taking feedback and improving facilities with a clear plan. stayed with my family of 5 and recommend this strongly

Tipfü Retreat and FoodPrints Cafe 2

ShisachilaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
An excellent place to stay, particularly during the Hornbill Festival (the Naga Heritage Village is within walking distance). The room was clean and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. We were served tasty breakfasts at the onsite cafe. Having this cafe was convenient since we could order food and beverages at other times of the day too. Also onsite was a gift shop which stocked some nice items. The host was responsive, forthcoming and helpful. The staff were polite and efficient. Highly recommend this place.

Mountain View Homestay

NazaRRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Usually I never write a review unless it’s something special. Mountain View Homestay was exactly what I was looking for in a Homestay. Location: Very peaceful surroundings and very close to Kohima. Accommodation: The room is bit small, but spotlessly clean and functional, very thoughtful interiors, clean bathrooms with all amenities. Food: The highlight of the stay was the simple and deliciously prepared homemade breakfast and dinner. Host: Anga and her sister Ketho and their mother made us feel at home, making sure that our stay was comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Nagaland first time and sure you will feel at home instantly. Thank you the host of Mountain View Homestay for making our holiday at Nagaland an enjoyable experience..
A balcony features two simple plastic chairs and a round wicker table, offering an unobstructed view of the distant mountains and clear blue sky. Sunlight casts shadows on the floor, emphasizing the tranquil outdoor space.

Mom and I loved our stay so much. They are such wonderful people, super helpful and very sweet and kind. The rooms were clean. The whole house and the surrounding is super peaceful. The host and her family were super welcoming and they treated us like a family, cooked us such delicious meals and were always ready to help out. Pista their dog and the two cats too were super welcoming and friendly😘😂 Had a great great time. Now whenever we have any work in Kohima we will always be coming to them. With that being said I would 100% recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Kohima and is looking for a place to stay. Trust me you will not regret choosing to stay with them.
A small balcony area features two basket-style chairs and a round table. A vase with yellow flowers is situated on the table, adding a touch of color. The flooring is polished, reflecting the surrounding wooden structure and brick walls.

Stay at the Cottage Overlooking the mountains..

RandeepRating, 5 stars10 months ago
This was one of the best stays in Kisama Village, Nagaland. Overlooking the lust green mountains, this property has everything one can ask for. The loghut was spacious, food was delicious and the staff was humble and very accommodating. It's right next to the heritage Village where the famous Hornbill festival takes place. If someone has limited time, exploring the nearby places and the property itself will be a good enough experience. And if you would like to explore the likes of Dzuleke, Khonoma village or Dzukou Valley, the staff helps you with the contact details of local drivers. (Its recommended to travel with local drivers and guides only). I would highly recommend this property. P.S- It's in a hilly area, hence the way to the property is a bit steep. Do inform your driver in advance so that you don't face any issue. The view in the monsoon weather was spectacular.
