Awang and his family are incredibly hospitable and friendly. They helped to arrange a variety of cultural events, including meeting local craftsmen, visiting a local coffee shop, and enjoying an afternoon at Pantai Sante, where we joined rewilding sea turtles! You can absolutely enjoy the rich culture at Kemiren. Only a few things might concern the guests. 1. I was informed that the boiler was out of function by the time I arrived, so it was harsh for travellers who wanted to get a refreshing hot water shower. 2. There may be unexpected sounds in the late night or early mornings, though it really depends on daily sitaution.

We loved staying here! The owners and staff were so kind, they helped us organize an Ijen tour and drove us to nearby sights. They served a beautiful breakfast each morning which is included- definitely worth the price. Their communication was great and we felt very at home. The cat Bono is so sweet, (& neighbouring cats) a great bonus.

Very good stay in Umma Bali. Made and her family welcomed us with great warmth and kindness. The setting is beautiful in the middle of rice fields. Beware of mosquitoes. The food is delicious, with the possibility of dining on site after a pre-order during the day. A catalog of the various activities in the area is available in the room. Made takes care of everything, you just have to ask. We were able to pay everything by card at the end of the stay (a big plus in this country where you pay a lot in cash). We recommend 100%.

Ni Kadek Eva’s home is amazing. Pak Itok and Ibu Putu were waiting for us and had a welcome drink and cool towel ready. Our room was lovely, overlooking the pool. Their hospitality was fantastic. There were lots of extra touches such as toothbrushes and toothpaste if you needed them. A welcome card and bowl of fruit. Plenty of bottled water, big TV and the list goes on. Comfortable bed and pillow. The village is the cleanest and neatest village we’ve ever seen in Bali. The community was so friendly. We were able to have a home cooked meal in the home and breakfast was delicious. They have a number of different choices for your meals. I would recommend this home for a peaceful and safe getaway. If you are travelling around Bali as we were, this is a great place to stop or of if you want somewhere peaceful for a longer stay, you will feel at home here. Thanks Ni for your communication with us and thanks Pak Itok and Ibu Putu for taking care of us.

I loved Mango Moon. I wish I stayed longer. The pool and garden area is beautiful with stunning mountains in the distance. Kadek and the team are so friendly and kind. It is super affordable and so was the food and drink, breakfast was delicious :) Close to the beach and amazing cafes and restaurants too.
