(We have 4 guest rooms in the same building) There are many attractive shops and restaurants in the surrounding area. On the 1st floor of the same building, there is a cafe, "Amami to Oshoku Mitu no Mori", where you can enjoy Japanese sweets and snacks, and on the 2nd floor, there is Ehime's local cuisine, "Tai Meshi Motoya Ropeway Noeriba Shop". There is also the "Tai Meshi Motoyama Honten Bekkan" and the "Chirunomori" tavern, which uses local ingredients, within walking distance. From August 2025, the gacha capsule toy specialty store "Himitsu no Mori" will also open next door to the left! Dogo Onsen is a short train or bike ride away (bike rental available🚲). We have a Masato Hino Gallery where you can enjoy collaborative works of tanka and photos, as well as watercolor paintings and line drawings that metaphorically depict a mysterious animal society. The nearest spot is a 20-minute drive from Matsuyama Airport 10-minute drive from Iyo Interchange 10-minute walk from JR Iyohokuda Station We will pick you up and drop you off at the nearest station (Iyo Yokota Station) at a possible time and number of people. Dogo Onsen, Matsuyama Castle, the sea, mountains, zoo, and park are all within a 30-minute drive. The fully electric, barrier-free, and wheelchair-accessible interior is safe for small children. There is a pond and field on the 1000 square meter property, and you can catch medaka (during the summer, they hibernate in the winter). In the spring and fall, you can pick loquats and persimmons in the field. You can pick and eat them freely. Enjoy the feeling of a rural villa. Please look at the moon and stars at night and heal your mind. We provide home-grown rice. You can prepare ingredients and make dinner. Great for groups, solo travelers, families with children, and everyone else. Long stays are also recommended.

A house in the middle of a forest. Enjoy mountain life in one of the few magnificent old houses built by Miyadaiku. At the house at the end of a fairytale forest road, you can BBQ, make a fire, boil a Goemon bath, and enjoy natural play that can only be experienced in the mountains. There are no street lights, and at night you can see the starry sky. Spending time feeling the mountain with all your senses, which can be seen in different ways depending on the season, reminds you of the rich, peaceful time that has been forgotten in modern times. Centered on a magnificent large pillar, it is an old house with earthen walls and built-in storage, but the first floor is covered with pure cedar boards, giving it a new feel. The water area features a newly built island kitchen and a large wash basin. The bath is a Goemon bath that uses both wood and gas, so you can cook with wood or use hot water. Outside the house, there is a friendly sign cat named Aosuke, who will come up to you if you are outside. It is located about 15 minutes by car from the Ishikari Mountain ropeway, making it easy to get to the mountains.

Built with a good old Japanese traditional structure, this old house, about 70 years old, has a stairwell beams, earthen walls and stucco, a Japanese-style room that leads to a wide earthen floor, and a Goemon bath. It is a house with the sea right in front of you, and the house is behind Shiojiro Shokudo, and a convenience store is 30 seconds on foot. Of course, the entire house is rented out.It can accommodate up to 6 people. Shimonada is beautiful, with mountains as well as the sea. There is a small private beach in front of the house.I think nature lovers will enjoy it. It is also easy to access Aoshima, which is famous for Nekoshima.　 Anyone can enjoy it, whether you're traveling alone, as a couple, or as a family.

Ricefields, Rivers and Mountains

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.

The house is Japanese wood building which has wide corridor, kitchen, living room and it was built in 1985. There is wood stove in Living room. The remarkable space of the house is Japanese style bath tub with wood wall. Only 1 group, a couple or family stay a night. So, you can stay here as your house. Relax here!

Embrace the “slow life.” The space is a renovated private bungalow next to our main house. Surrounded by trees and quiet, it's an oasis to unwind, unplug, have lazy breakfasts and nap in the hammock. For more active travelers, it's a good base to explore the area. We are 9 km from Shimanto City restaurants and shopping and an easy drive to activities on Shimanto River or the beach. We do require a 2-night minimum but highly encourage you to slow down and stay longer.
