The Barn is a luxurious guesthouse at the back of the farm with us on the property, wonderfully quiet location outside the village. Fully furnished with kitchen, bathroom, living room and 2 bedrooms. 1 on the loft and 1 separate bedroom both with a large 2-person bed. The loft has a headroom of 165 cm. Back in time with the comfort of today. And you sleep in one of three bed cities! There is underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove. You have a private entrance and you can also use a seat under a centuries-old linden tree. The cottage has a kitchen/entrance. A living room and a shower/toilet room. Breakfast is possible for 13 euros pp. Please note : the bed cities are smaller than a double bed . The 2 bed cities in the room are 200x115 and the bedstee in the kitchen is 190x120

Nature cottage the Twadde Hûske

The Twadde Hûske is a new apartment (opened in April 2025) with floor heating and air conditioning, which can be booked for 4 people. In consultation for 5 or 6 people by adding a folding mattress and/or camping bed, but this is only suitable for short stays. Further on, you can read more about the layout of the apartment. The Twadde Hûske has a wonderful view over the meadows with a lovely terrace. Literally everything in the apartment is brand new. Are you coming to try it? 🏡

This rural holiday home in Burum located on the border of Friesland and Groningen is equipped with every comfort. Such as dishwasher, wifi, washing machine, dryer, smart TV etc. The house has just been renovated and finished luxuriously. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and nature. Burum is close to the Lauwersmeer area and is also a good base to go to all kinds of beautiful places in Friesland and Groningen. The entire ground floor is wheelchair friendly.
