Stinson Cottage #5

This place is wonderful! I love the hard wood floor and the beautiful furnitures! They have a creek next to the laundry room😊. It's a walking distance away from lots of good restaurants and 3 minutes away from Food Lion. If you go there, don't forget to visit the farmer's market on Saturday! Lots of good food! When we stayed there, we went to the presbyterian church (2 min away) and met the mayor🙃 and a lot of nice people! We also went running at the park next to the river often! The neighborhood and the place is worth the money and the extra-drive (if your main goal is to be near Charlottesville).

Shepherdess Cottage

We had a great stay in Scottsville with the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. The property is gorgeous, especially during the sunrise with the sheep all gathered around in the field in front of the cottage, a truly relaxing and picturesque place. Coming from a city, this was a great way to spend a long weekend away from the noise, we loved visiting this part of the county and definitely want to come back. Short drive to breweries, wineries, and hiking trails up towards Shenandoah NP.

The Cottage at Hardware Hills Vineyard

A M A Z I N G! We are looking to book for another weekend getaway...We had fun on last Saturday running a 5K race at the area. Andrea and Rob were kind to allow us to check in earlier and enjoy their beautiful wines and charcuterie while we were relaxing on their beautiful outdoor patio at their winery. I can't imagine a better place to visit that it feels so relaxed and so laid back. Next time we will bring our road bikes, beautiful quiet roads to cruise around and hiking at the back of cottage next to the little river. Andrea and Rob were so welcoming and felt like you know them for years. Loved their adorable doggies and so fun playing with them. Missed that tranquility and simplistic life. We came back home and are already planning for another weekend to go back...but shhhh!!! We don't want to share...this is our secret spot ;)

Scottsville Downtown Bungalow

We enjoyed a weekend at Brenda’s cozy place. We were able to park the car and walk everywhere all weekend. Brenda was super helpful with some suggestions on things to do and events that coincided with our stay. Scottsville isn’t a big town, but everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the local shops and restaurants and also took a trip down the James on a batteau. Brenda’s place is exactly as described, super clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay immensely!
