Markus's chalet was incredibly well kept. Absolutely pristine and organized to a T with full instructions on how to operate everything within the chalet. He was an accommodating host that was responsive and detailed which made our trip very peaceful. I would recommend anyone from couples to small families to make a reservation here. Just please be mindful of how clean and organized his place is so you can return it the way you found it. One of the most ideal Airbnb visits I have ever had the pleasure of staying at!

We wanted to spend the weekend away from everything to enjoy nature and this place was perfect for doing just that. Everything was wonderful. We felt right at home. The views of the valley and mountains are beautiful. The chalet was very clean. We cooked our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Even our dogs loved it. All you will hear are the sounds of birds and cow bells. There are hiking trails that you can start right from the chalet. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

Great experience. We’re from Texas. The place has amazing views and we use it as a hub to go to different countries nearby via driving and then train to Milan. And It has almost all the best Switzerland can offer you too - the mountains, lake and villages.. all great.

It was our third stay in Fabienns holiday house. We came back here because the house is gorgeous, equipped with everything you need, feels like a home away from home. It has every comfort you need, tastefully decorated and it is vers clean. The area is awesomely beautiful. It starts with the view out the window and from the balcony. We had our breakfast on the balcony each morning. We went hiking almost every day. Just pack a bag and walk out of the house and you can make great trips. Especially the walk up to the Talalpsee was our absolute favorite. We're definately coming back a fourth time!!

This chalet was totally charming and perfect for our multi-generational family of 5. My son loved the upstairs bedroom with the “fancy stairs” and how wonderful to also have a bathtub (a bit of a luxury in Europe). The kitchen was spacious and very well equipped. I loved waking up to the neighbor cows, chickens, sheep, and having my coffee on the deck with a view of a cliffside waterfall. I so eagerly hope to return - convenient to everything!

Wonderful stay! Brienz was in our opinion the most stunning in the area . This cottage has an amazing view, it was peaceful , well equipped. We couldn’t wish for more . Great Place!!! (Keep in mind that garbage disposal is a pain as the town requires you to separate everything)

We booked a two-night stay at Markus place in August 2024. It is a cozy chalet in a charming Swiss village with a handful of houses. The place was clean, comfortable, with a mix of beautiful traditional woodwork and modern kitchen and bathroom at the same time. The village is very quiet so you are also expected to respect the locals and not get too loud. We had 3 kids with us and that was not a problem for us. Although there are no stores or restaurants within the village itself, we found it very conveniently located, we were able to easily reach nearby towns to explore mountains, lakes or go out for dinner. Everything was under 30 min away and we managed to explore lots during our short stay. Overall highly recommend as a base for exploring the area if you love peace, quiet and falling asleep with cow bells. 🇨🇭🧀🐄

Ideal for a relaxing quiet weekend far away from the noise of civilization. Hikes are quite possible from there. Very nice house and surroundings. Great with the hot tube. 4G reception is moderate, but it's better to turn off the cell phone anyway ;)

Lovely chalet with an amazing view, super well equipped and perfectly located for skiing or walking around. Very accessible and practical even with small kids/a baby.

Caterina and Stefan were very friendly and forthcoming! Check-in and Check-out felt relaxed and uncomplicated. We loved cooking on the outdoor „Feuerring“🔥, the view 🏔️ and the cows 🐄 surrounding the nicely maintained property.

Great place in a very serene setting. No neighbors, just a few cows with bells a few hundred feet away. only about 500 ft. from the cabin is the Bort station. so going down to the village is very easy. we had to use the fireplace and the wood furnace, it was actually very unique and cool experience. definitely recommend for people who want to be more with nature and further away from the business of the town. there is a nice automatic espresso machine with ability to throth milk, so we made cappuccinos and latte every morning.

Our entire stay at the Airbnb was truly exceptional. The breathtaking views from the property were beyond words, especially at night when we had the opportunity to stargaze. The highlight of our experience was definitely the private apres ski in the wine cellar, the sauna & pool which added a touch of luxury to our stay. The highlight was the incredible boat ride they arranged on the lake—gliding across the turquoise waters surrounded by mountains was a memory we’ll cherish forever. The chalet is gorgeous, jeffrey really nice and offered lots of baby stuff. There are lots of stairs and doors that don't close properly - so you need to make sure to make it baby proof. Would have loved a later checkout around 11 or 12 (9AM is brutally early) - especially since no cleaning crew had arrived by 11 (which es when we left the premises). Otherwise, pool is awesome (and baby/child proof), super close to the lake and any hiking destinations. Beds were comfy. All good - we talked about coming back next year :) loved the view, the place and the vibe <3

Small peaceful haven, very well-equipped, with many outdoor games for children. simply rejuvenating!
