Tradition meets modernity The Kutscherhaus, part of a historic farmstead, located in the charming wine village of Hattenheim am Rhein. The modern wooden house, clad with natural slate, stands on a historic vaulted cellar. The open living-dining area is equipped with a "kitchen workbench," dining table and 2-seater sofa. Bathroom with shower and toilet and an outdoor shower in the romantic courtyard. The sleeping area on the upper floor can be reached via a steep staircase (see picture).

The houseboat is located right in the heart of the oldest wine-growing city in Hesse, surrounded by beautiful excursion destinations as well as numerous cycling and hiking trails.

Fantastic getaway

Our newly renovated farmhouse from 1721 is perfect for a wonderful break for up to 5 guests. The beautiful half-timbered house is located in the historic, listed courtyard in the middle of 3000 m² of terraced garden and courtyard property. Our spacious (80 m²) main apartment is on the completely renovated ground floor. On the first floor is the cozy owl's nest for 2 people. Bathroom and fully equipped, new bodega-style kitchen are also on the ground floor.

The 100 m² flat is accessible via a sandstone staircase. The sofa bed in the living room offers an additional sleeping area. The bathroom has underfloor heating, a floor-level shower and integrated glass shelving. The fully equipped kitchen (incl. espresso machine, dishwasher, microwave, cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer) has a breakfast area in a recess in the wall. The bedroom is accessible via a few steps and can be used as a twin or double bed.

Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

In the courtyard there is a seating area for cozy evenings available. The nearest city Mainz is only 10 km away and easily accessible with the city bus connection.
