This is our second stay at this place and it was a great! We were able to do "Christmas" with local family there. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook. The grocery store was right across the street for forgotten ingredients. It was a warm and welcoming stay.

Me and my friend stay for one night we played uno and had the most amazing time it’s a very cute house clean not too modern but has a lot of charm I also love the Bible verses on the wall it had no tv’s but I don’t feel like you need them because the charm and area around was so beautiful it made us want to take a break from electronics and talk and play board games would stay again the host was friendly and responded quick great for a little getaway.

Hidden River Lodge at Hawk Mountain

This place was truly beautiful. If you are a “birder”, this place is so unique. The river, flowers, birds, wildlife, and indoor / outdoor setting of the house was magical. Our family consisting if my wife and I and both sets of our parents stayed for a long weekend and it was incredible. Hawk mountain was also super cool. I hiked to the north lookout which is 1 mile each way with a breathtaking view at the top. Cool rock scrambling hike that wasn’t challenging and tons of fun. We will be back, nooooo doubt.

This was my second visit to Mimm’s. It was wonderful four years ago when I visited with my family and was again superb for my recent visit with four friends. Mimm’s is an authentic farmhouse on a property with a working barn with farm animals. The house is filled with antiques and small touches like quilts and period wallpaper throughout so that one is immersed in the farm feel, but the house is also immaculate and has excellent WiFi, lovely bathrooms and other modern amenities. Marcia, the host, is very responsive, practical and clear. My friends and I are looking forward to a return visit.
