A beautiful home in the country. The house was elegant while maintaining a farm house vibe. There were lots of unique areas to relax in or find privacy where needed. The kitchen was fully equipped to make a full meal. Highly recommend this house.

everything on the stay was ok until we noticed that was a leaking from the bathroom right above the stove. I messaged to get fixed they were able to send someone in but he left in the middle the work to attend another emergency. When we came from work at night no water in the house. After speaking with the owners they were trying to get someone else, but nothing happened after 1 hour, so I end up going to hotel with the crew. Steph I want my refund.

Finally a place in my home town just for me. Very eclectic and somewhat quirky but extremely comfortable. Turn of the century home. Last century that is in outstanding condition. Kitchen is great, and two outdoor settings for casual get together, with fire pit or fireplace depending on the covered or uncovered area. TV actually has plenty to view. And a turntable with vinyl like the old days. Just a rare hidden gem. I have stayed in rentals in five states, this one tops them all. Quiet neighborhood but very friendly neighbors. We love it and absolutely will be back!

The stay at Robert house was absolutely phenomenal! Due to a recent shoulder surgery he had a wonderful recliner I spent the night in. My girlfriend and I had a great night spent there as we had a wedding close by. Wonderful scenery and spotless clean rooms! Robert also was very communicative had also allowed us to check in earlier as well! Certainly would stay again!

We had fun staying at Kristina's house. It was easy to access from I-81 and central to everything we wanted to do. It was clean with plenty of room for us. Our pups enjoyed the fenced back yard and gated front porch. We loved seeing deer, geese, and rabbits. Except for an occasional train, it was peaceful. The Lakeside Ballroom didn't have any events, so it was private during our stay. The Dollar General was close and convenient for anything extra we needed. It was close to Hometown (especially Hometown Farmers Market - Wednesdays only), Tamaqua (especially Gimbel's and Hope & Coffee), and Jim Thorpe (especially Molly Maguire's Irish Pub). Kristina was very friendly and helpful. It rained for most of our stay, so we hope to return to Kristina's house and explore more!

Rebeka's was the perfect fit for my trip. I needed a first floor bedroom for my elderly Mom and her dog. There were just a couple stairs to get in the front door and the neighborhood was level and walkable for her and the dog. We felt safe and the wifi was very fast and easy to get on. For those visiting knobels it was right around the corner (signage was everywhere). If you did bring a furry friend the restaurant Paws and Plate was a great dog friendly stop to eat and have a drink.

Gorgeous little cabin in the woods. Not too difficult to find, very peaceful! We loved our time there & would definitely stay again.

My family and I stayed for the long memorial day weekend. The living room is huge its a step down style and has a bunch of beautiful couches with still having ample floor space. obviously for families traveling with children this is awesome to accommodate air mattresses while still having leg room! The dining table has ample seating as well making it easy to play games! I also want to mention the hot water lasted through a bunch of showers which was a welcome change from other places I've stayed! The only negative may be that the numida raceway can be heard from the yard (not really from inside it must be well insulated) personally I found it fun however if I had an infant I probably would have been upset over this. So YES you are close to knobels but also extremely close to numida drag strip! Overall the home was very inviting there is a pizza place right down the road that offers delivery.

Great girls weekend getaway. Weather was picture perfect and we spent all of one day by the pool. Pool heater didn't seem to be working, but it did not bother us so we didn't bother to bring it up to Dulcinea. Some of the beds were pretty hard, and we didn't find any basic cooking spices like salt and pepper. Overall, great place to stay if you want peaceful stay and plenty of space both indoor and out.

This was my second visit to Mimm’s. It was wonderful four years ago when I visited with my family and was again superb for my recent visit with four friends. Mimm’s is an authentic farmhouse on a property with a working barn with farm animals. The house is filled with antiques and small touches like quilts and period wallpaper throughout so that one is immersed in the farm feel, but the house is also immaculate and has excellent WiFi, lovely bathrooms and other modern amenities. Marcia, the host, is very responsive, practical and clear. My friends and I are looking forward to a return visit.

Melissa is a great and very responsive host. She also provides easy and simple check in and check out process. The house is spacious both the indoor and outdoor spaces. We love the location, no neighbors - we embrace the quiet and stillness especially since we live in the middle of the city! This property is in a resort so try not to be intimidated by the potential extra paperwork - it’s all for the right reasons. Great amenities in the community, and Melissa’s house is very close to one of the pools that feels very private. The house has all the fixin’s you need to be able to cook or bbq. Great layout of the home, and very clean. We truly enjoyed our stay,

Everything was just as described. The pictures don’t do the apt or surroundings justice. The basement apartment was absolutely perfect. Everything was clean and tidy. Very modern & beautiful decor. My family enjoyed the pool and sitting area. We enjoyed having our night & morning coffee in the lovely bench area in the yard. We made our meals in the spacious and fully equipped kitchen. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, which we loved coming from a busy city life. The king bed was super comfortable as was the multi setting shower. It was an extremely pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend. Would book again next year.

We stayed at Zhargals’s place as it was close to Knobels. The house was nice and spacious. Would recommend if you want to go to Knobels as it’s only a 30 minute drive.

Beautifully serene location that was super convenient for us to get around to visit family & friends in the area. Would definitely stay again in the future.

The Farmhouse was such a gorgeous property! We loved hearing the babbling brook and enjoying the cozy amenities. Hats off to Allen for a wonderful stay.

Mike's Blue Mountain House is absolutely stunning. We loved the privacy of the property and how the house was so nice and well-maintained. Every room was clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were tidy, the bathrooms were so clean, and the kitchen was spotless. Mike was so helpful leading up to our stay - he sent detailed instructions for getting to the house and a list of local recommendations. Beautiful property, beautiful home, we cannot wait to stay here again.

We were in the area for a multi-day event, so we did not get to take advantage of all of the area's and home's offerings, but the house itself and all of the thought the host put into the details were wonderful. Mike had walking sticks with flashlights hung by the door, blaze orange vests and hats in the coat closet, s'mores ingredients on-hand, just to name a few of the perfect cabin-in-the-woods touches. I enjoyed reading a bit of The Field Guide to Dumb Birds of North America : ) Lots of books on the bookshelves for readers. My bed was very comfortable. You will be staying in an antique cabin in the woods with a wood-burning fireplace, but all of the areas that need to be clean for guests (counters, bathroom, bedding, etc.) were clean. Thank you for a great place to stay while in the area!

Our stay at Neal and Melissa Rice place was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The home was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The couple was incredibly thoughtful and responsive,m and making sure we had everything we needed. The check-in process was seamless, and really made me and my friend s feel at home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely stay here again . I Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay!

Thoughtful items included (coffee, tea, hot chocolate area, board games, snacks, and a kind, handwritten note); close to Knoebels, keyless front door was very convenient and easy to use, allowed an earlier check in. The house could use some updates, but was very clean and orderly. Street was noisy at times with traffic and car alarms - to be expected given the location. Walking distance to Dollar General and a short drive to CVS and a grocery store was wonderful for our family.

Such a great place. Historic and unique. Just a block from the Yuengling factory and gift shop and downtown. It is 3 flights of stairs to the room just a heads up. Ron was very accommodating when I ask to reserve another night in short notice. Would highly recommend to anyone.

It was easy to find, The Cabin was warm and clean with everything you need, They sell firewood which is helpful. The firepit setting was perfect, The night time sky is perfect, Its worth a trip.
