House was built in 1952 by my grandparents. It is located in vicinity of Lake Pyhäjärvi. It is excellent place to calm down and rest for a while in midst of spacious yard and garden by yourself or with family. Your pets are welcome too. Please notice that there is no shower in the house. Sauna and woodheated waterpot are for bathing purpose in oldschool Finnish way. You can save money by bringing own duvet cover sets or rent them for 10€/person. We got pillows and blankets for you.

Parking spaces are reachable within minutes and there are many nice restaurants and cafès in the area. The communication with Lauri was very friendly and his recommendation were great! Very nice cottage, a group of 7 people fit well. Everything worked without any problems: easy check-in, good kitchen utensils, nice sauna with two showers - and we even got to stay in the cottage a few hours longer on the day of departure, thanks for that! There was plenty of firewood in the shed when we kept a fire in the back of the terrace. The gas grill on the terrace worked well. We liked the environment of the cottage very much: the beautiful pine terrain inspired us to go for walks and we even went to the nearby pond to bathe our winter tires (a wonderful sandy beach)! Two kilometers away, you will find Uhrilähde and Kylmänmyllynlähde, beautiful natural sites, where we took a short walk. Thanks to Tiina for a great cottage weekend - we will be happy to come here again!

This beautiful villa in Merikarvia was heaven on Earth! We were blown away by the location, the gorgeous house, the saunas, and the sea! Jussi was so helpful and we had the most peaceful stay! Highly highly recommend! We will be back!
