Wonderful and spacious stay in a quiet place overlooking the beautiful garden from the balcony. Friendly and easily accessible hosts and hosts.

A lovely place half an hour's drive from Paramaribo. Jeffrey and Elisabeth are great hosts who make you feel right at home. The location is surrounded by beautiful nature, a great diversity of flora and fauna and beautiful garden and small farm with goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys. We had the entire upper floor at our disposal with a beautiful large balcony so you have a wonderful view and you can lie in your hammock or read a book. Lookout is a friendly quiet village along the Saramacca river. Nice to take a boat trip over the river or take a walk to the lock and get an idea of village life just outside the city. The nearby town of Groningen is also a nice half day trip to experience more of the beautiful surroundings and history. In short, a wonderful place for a few nights to unwind with great hosts who are there for you 24/7.

Annette and Gera are very sweet people they picked me up from the airport and I immediately felt very welcome. Together they took very good care of me Annette takes care of the delicious food and with Gera I made a great trip with a boat through the jungle, swam and walked. A lot was possible and everything was allowed and nothing had to be done. It is not a very luxurious location but everything is available and the price is also very cheap. I can recommend it to anyone, you will relax completely. And for me who travels alone a very safe feeling from check-in to checkout. Highly recommended if you want to see the real Suriname because Gera knows all the plants and animals and likes to tell you about it and Annette is coming home. I'm definitely going back!
