The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Enjoy a wonderfully relaxing stay in the Tiny House among the animals in the Groningen meadows. The cottage is in the middle of the nature reserve ‘Ae's Woudbloem’ and you can find many beautiful bike/hiking tours. In addition, from the cottage you have a beautiful view of Gronings and you can enjoy your holiday/weekend away with peace and quiet. The Golden Island is located in the construction of a beautiful city villa on the edge of the historic village center of Parkstad Veendam. This neighborhood is known as The Golden Island, a villa neighborhood with homes built in the period 1910-1930. The Golden Island is set in a quiet leafy neighborhood with tall oak trees and wide streets. The apartment has a private entrance, patio with seat, kitchen, wc shower, king size bed (2x 90/210) and is luxuriously finished.

A stylishly furnished B&B, you stay in the restored front house from 1912. During the renovation, the history and the authentic colors of the early 20th century were taken into account. The B&B has its own toilet and bathroom. There is a small pantry with a fridge, kettle, toaster and a Nespresso machine. There's plenty of closet space for your clothes. The bedroom has a bed with 2 pcs. 80×200 cm mattresses and there is a sofa bed for 2 pers. in the sitting room.

The accommodation, with its own entrance, has been recently renovated and is completely furnished for a comfortable stay. During the summer, the spaces are wonderfully cool and cozy during the winter. The accommodation is within walking distance ( 5 min.) from the station ( train + bus). By car, the accommodation is easily accessible, a short distance from Juliana Square, where the A7 and A28 intersect. Free parking on own property.

From your bed you can look out the garden or into the forest.
