Vacation rentals with a patio in São Vicente

Well equipped, spacious and clean apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. Jamila was very helpful and managed to help resolve any issues that I had.

Since I was in a unique position to see this apt, but stay in the XL apt, please consider this a review of both places. The apts look exactly as pictured, if not better! It def felt like home with a bed that swallows you, in a good way! The location is perfect as it's only about 15 minutes walking from the center. Close to everything, yet just far enough to have peace and quiet. A few things I'd like to correct/add from the listing. Laginha Beach is more of a 25-30 min walk from the apt & there is no elevator available. Djoy (co-host) was gracious enough to help me with my luggage! While there, the wifi did not work in the Penthouse apt & only worked about 10% of the time in the XL apt. CJ offered to have someone come out to take a look, but with me only being there 2 nights, it was more convenient for me to work from a restaurant or cafe. In the Penthouse apt, there is no AC in the bedroom, but a fan is provided. There is AC in the bedroom in the XL apt. Would I stay here again? YES!

Elsa is an extraordinary host. The apartment is probably the most beautiful on the island - with views of the ocean, the mountains, and everything else. A grocery store right in the building, and a pool downstairs (it was being renovated when we were there so we didn't get to use it, but it looks stunning). There is also a second grocery store via a 7 minute walk, and CNAD is about 8 minutes away, not to mention the 10-12 minute walk to the beach. I can't say enough wonderful things about Elsa as a host - she goes out of her way to make you feel connected to the community. Thanks, Elsa!

Bohème (from Filomena Apartments) is perfect! My trip to Sao Vicente was meant to relax and that was completely successful. Nice with coffee and a book in the morning sun on the balcony. Wake up under the super clean shower with a good jet. And then walking to the (super)market, the beach or an eatery - choice enough within walking distance - to come back at the end of the afternoon for a siesta in a wonderfully cool bedroom on a nice mattress. In the evening I cooked myself - also the kitchen is full of comforts - or one of the famous taxi drivers took me to the most beautiful places in Mindelo. You can have a great time in the beautiful apartment (e.g. Netflix on the TVs and table games) but on the island there is plenty to do (e.g. car tour along Salamsa and Monte Verde etc.). Elida and Nuun have good tips and the residents of Sao Vicente are happy to show you their island. Just ask; people are really sweet and at Filomena Aprtmnts you are in the best hands. Bêjus!

Mindelo Sunset - Ocean View! What a beautiful place! It was super clean, organized, and beautifully decorated. The unit has a nice vibe to it and had everything that I needed; I felt right at home! And the view! Oh my Goodness, what a view! Nothing better than waking up to a beautiful view of Monte Cara and Laginha beach! Also, the location is perfect: it's a short walk to Laginha beach and very close to Mindelo's center (downtown area) which you can find many restaurants, cafes, etc. The neighborhood is safe and the building is secure, which was exactly what I was looking for. Safety is a non negotiable for me. I also loved the fact that there is a cafe and mini-market right on the ground floor! That was super convenient for me! The host was professional, prompt, and super friendly! The host's description of the place is on point, nothing more and nothing less. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be staying at Mindelo Sunset again!

I had a really nice stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. It’s a wonderful place to get and enjoy the culture of the island. I highly recommend it!!!😊

Wonderful place and very nice host

Bruna the host was lovely, she was extremely helpful and accommodating as my friends took their baby and the place was all kitted with a cot for the baby! The house is spacious with comfortable beds, a huge patio with beautiful views of and a walking distance from the city centre. They also managed booking tours and activities in the island which was extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the island and would 100% stay here again. Thank you for the lovely hospitality!

Beautiful, modern apartment just outside the center, about 5 minutes walk to the city beach and about 10 minutes to the center. The apartment is furnished as new, clean and has everything you need for a successful vacation. Pleasant bed and shower with decent water pressure. Recommended! Deborah is an attentive host, communicating with her was very easy and quick.

Our stay at Jennifer’s place was absolutely perfect! The logement was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jennifer was an amazing host—super kind, always available to help, and quick to answer all our questions. She also gave us fantastic recommendations that made our trip even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Thomas was a super friendly and attentive host, always had a good attitude and was attentive to if you need anything at all. She always cared that the bathroom was clean and I help myself get to know the city when I got to the rest. The apartment was located in a very downtown area so the location is excellent . A man and excellent service, I have had a very good experience thanks to your hospitality, if I have the occasion I will come back! Thank you so much for everything Thomas!

Great host, Thomas always has very good tips and never hesitates to help you when he can. He has a lot of very nice spots and knows the area well. He is very clean and it shows in his home. He's someone you can trust and we were delighted to stay with him. If I had to give a point of improvement, it would probably be to change the bed because it squeaks a little too much for my taste. But that's obviously a personal point of view. I will go back without problem given all the human qualities of Thomas and the very very nice place.

An oasis from some minutes to city center. Very comfortable house with a lot of beauty and of amendities. Lovely view over the city. Can recommend ❤️
