Great apartment located in the middle of the historic section of the city.

What can we say.. We spent a glorious, relaxed week here at the end of August, a truly special place a beautifully renovated original stone house with high ceilings and original features. Paul was a generous, friendly and knowledgeable host, and the views are spectacular. Apartment 3 was a good size for our family of 5 (kids 17, 14, 11) comfy beds, en suites for each bedroom and a stunning balcony. The pool was an extra treat, beautiful, and again with panoramic views across the valley. Oh, and the WiFi was speedy too. Brace yourself for the drive, it gets easier and it’s 100% worth it! Would happily and heartily recommend ❤️

Large space, good rooms, cleaning, utensils and small appliances, direct access to walk, friendliness and readiness of the owner. The house is elevated, on top of commercial space.

Ideal solution for those who want to live a quiet stay and in a secluded and authentic village. Upon arrival, we are very well received, and for us who do not speak the language of the country, our host is charming and speaks French very well. She is very attentive and always available to answer our questions. The place is great . Bright and spacious, comfortable, everything is of high quality. Outside, several terraces The heated pool is obviously a plus in an enclosed garden. Three small details that may be important we were “alone” which was perfect for us. At other times, there may be promiscuity as there are two accommodations that are for rent (but there are two swimming pools). Several stairs so beware of people with reduced mobility and for shopping nothing in the village allow 20 mins for the 1st supermarket 6 kms away. in short we are delighted with our week!

an excellent space for those looking for a time of peace to relax, all of them receptive, friendly, accessible. We had an experience for life, my family loved every moment, without words to be able to express our gratitude. to everyone who was with us we went on vacation to rest and we felt at home with friendships that will stay for life. return is already guaranteed 🙏

Super tranquil site, literally away from the world, in the middle of nothing, total disconnection, if you are looking for this type of escape the site is ideal. The house super clean and without a single bug, insect, ant, mosquito, etc ... that to be in a rural village, in the middle of the mountain, the truth is that it is a super important detail. Everything is very clean. It has everything you could possibly need except mobile coverage, you have to go out a little to have it. Everything is perfect

Folhas Country Vila is located in a peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing break with astonishing views of the forestry vale. The kitchen's sliding doors and the swimming pool facing southwest allow you to enjoy the sun from early morning until sunset. The house is a recent construction with excellent specifications in terms of insulation, and all the main rooms have brand new air conditioning units, with all windows fitted with mosquito mesh. Folhas Country Vila is equipped with everything you need, including a fast Wi-Fi connection, cable TV, an espresso machine, an electric grill, and a barbecue. The neighborhood is quiet, but your neighbors are nearby if you need any help. The main town, Oliveira de Frades, has all the amenities you need. Don’t worry if you don’t drive—there’s a local taxi rank always available at pre-booked platform prices. I fully recommend this place and can't wait to return next year. Mr. Manuel and his wife, the hosts, were very welcoming to us.

The place is comfortable and well cared for, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The elderly lady who manages the place is extraordinary. She is very friendly, helpful and always ready to give great advice. Your hospitality makes your stay even more special. I highly recommend this apartment to those looking for tranquility and nature.
