The home is large and spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each of the 3 bedrooms was equipped with its own air-conditioner and there were 2 tower fans in the living room area. A rare amenity was the rather large refrigerator instead of the more typical mini refrigerator. The home also had a regular full-size 4 burner stove with oven which was a nice bonus. The large yard that surrounds the house is fenced with 2 locked entry gates; one small gate for people and a large gate for cars or etc. The large yard is filled with various fruit trees and many flowering plants and etc which are maintained by the homes caretaker. The ocean and beaches are close by with the popular surfing community of San Juan, La Union, a relatively short trip to the South. Also, be sure to keep food crumbs and spills wiped up to avoid feeding the ants which seem to love life in the warm tropical Philippines. The hosts and caretakers of the home were all very kind and quick to respond to any questions.

We had a lovely stay at Carol’s place in Bacnotan! The room was cozy and had everything our small family of three needed. It’s just steps from a quiet, peaceful beach that we almost had to ourselves during our stay — such a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We also loved how easy it was to take a quick 10-15 minute drive to Urbiztondo when we wanted to explore coffee shops and restaurants. The neighborhood itself is calm and laid-back, and waking up to a beach view from the balcony was a real treat. Carol was a great host—very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this spot to small families or couples looking for a quiet beach escape that’s still close to surf town vibes when you want them!

Great place for a staycation to celebrate my son's birthday. The house is so beautiful, clean, felt like home. Made me want to have a beach house like it. Tho the weather is not so ideal, it didnt damper our stay for 3D2N. I love the kitchen. We were able to cook lunch and merienda, we loved that we can go to the nearby market, we also asked Banessa and Michelle (cartakers) for some help to get us a few of our ingredients that we forgot to buy, theyre very accomodating our whole stay. I also love that theres a well stacked coffee nook . There's lots of snacks & drinks in the fridge & drinking water available. The rooms are so cozy, itshard not to fall asleep on the bed. I love that we felt we have a private beach at the back to ourselves. Restos & Flotsam is about 4km away, which i think is just perfect, after partying at night you go home to a quiet neighborhood to sleep and relax. Rochelle was very responsive to my querries, which i appreciate a lot. will book again definitely!

Me and my family had an amazing stay at Debbies’s house. Super lovely and clean house. The kids loved the pool even though its a small pool they still enjoyed it. Easy to go anywhere. Its just 6mins away from Kabsat/ beaches. Will be back when we visit Elyu again. Really thank you for hosting us 🥰
