We had a great weekend. An ideal house to be with your family, a barbecue, a pool and a little garden. In the village there is not much to do, but there are shops, a restaurant and places to have a beer. Highly recommended, if you have a car, as a base to visit all the villages near Oaxaca.

Casa Nova in the historic center of Oaxaca

JaniceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Nova. The place is gorgeous. I really appreciated the daily cleaning service. We ran into the cleaner a few times and she was so nice and pleasant. The whole house and outdoors were impeccably clean. the house is on a busy road but the front wall and the positioning of the bedrooms at the back of the house made it so you couldn't hear it at night. I would stay here again.

Comfort in Historical building - Espacio del Punto

AlejandroRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I would happily stay here again! The location is quiet and short walking distance to all the restaurants in town. Oaxaca is an old rustic city & the house reflects the rustic aesthetic of the city. The house is a sleeper from the exterior. Once inside you see the biggest selling point of this house--4 separate spaces for guests to hang out. The kitchen is the central hub. The courtyard is green with vegetation and hummingbirds. The terrace overlooks the city and is amazing. Also on the 2nd floor is a sun deck and 2 person pool. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and 3 bathrooms are plenty. Master bedroom has ensuite bathroom and other large bedroom has bathroom just two steps away. The many gathering areas beat a hotel any day. Mari managed the property while we were there and you can arrange for in home prepared meals. Nothing short of AMAZING. Her mole equaled the Michelin star restaurants in town. We did tours with Zapotec Travel, which were great.

Studios, water and Sauna, our peaceful oasis.

DenisseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful couple of days. The place is very beautiful, the studios have everything you need to spend a couple of days enjoying nature and peace. Everything is very comfortable and if you need to disconnect, but also work, the internet has very good stability and working under the trees is not work. The gardens are spectacular and do not hesitate to book a private sauna and outdoor tub session, with delicious food. The hosts are also very nice people. A unique and unforgettable experience, we are sorry to have to leave so soon but we will surely return.

Discover Casa Plúmula

BrandonRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Amy’s place was exactly what I needed for my 5 week stay in Oaxaca. The house is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern. A simple and well designed space with everything I needed. The San Felipe neighborhood is a bit far from all the happenings in the city but if you’re comfortable being a bit off the beaten path and learn how the local buses work it makes for nice escape. Would definitely stay here again!

Casa Labra - Labra House Etla, Oaxaca

AmyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Ximena's place felt like staying at a friend's beloved home. There's a relaxed, comfy vibe, as shown in the photos, but actually being there, is hard to find words for. It's just very special. Both my friend and I cherished our time there. Some words of advice, pack in your favorite foods, coffee, granola, there's only a small bodega down the road, and frankly once you've landed, you won't wanna leave. The first night Jhonny gave us the name of a wonderful local woman who on relatively short notice prepared us a lovely, healthy meal. Or, venture out to the small restaurant in the village. We ate delicious quesadillas made with fresh tortillas. On hikes, we were told to carry a stick to deter dogs. We never used them but good advice for anyone walking on country roads in Mexico. The dogs we saw were sun sleeping in the middle of the roads. Like I said, it's a good relaxing spot. We loved using the washing machine and hanging our clothes out to dry. We got emotional leaving.

The Aqueduct's Little Arches

RandyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was likely the most unique Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It’s not for everyone, but if you enjoy historical architecture in a great location, consider staying here. Its funkiness is part of its charm and you’ll be in a central location just a short walk to coffee shops, bars and restaurants (try the Chato sandwich at Gato Chato right across the street. Delicious!). We had another couple stay with us part of our time and we made it work fine. We’re probably more of the camping types than the Four Seasons. Yes, there is some noise during the day like church bells, dogs and construction, but at night it was totally quiet. Bring ear plugs and an eye mask and put them on as the sun comes up. The kitchen was limiting, so we didn’t cook much. The internet could be a little spotty at times, as well. In time, the memory of the minor discomforts will fade and the architecture/ambiance, the views of the mountains and the location will all be great memories of our time in Oaxaca. Enjoy!

Beautiful, comfortable and cozy small house.

AbrahamRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Maria was a great host ! She was very responsive and check in was smooth . My wife and I had a great stay at this home . The house is located about 15 minutes driving distance from the centro . I would recommend to rent a vehicle to get around the city and get to the house. The neighborhood felt very safe , and it was relaxing to come back after a long day of exploring the surrounding pueblos . There is a garage for 1 vehicle which was perfect since had a rental car . The bedroom had a king bed , TV and A/C . The bathroom has 2 sinks and the shower area was really clean . The kitchen and living room area was spacious and the patio area was beautiful . Would definitely recommend this spot !

Villa Consuelo, Oaxaca

Our family loved staying at Casa Laurel. We went with another family, and all of our kids. The house and property are amazing - it’s like staying at a botanic garden. We loved that our kids had a big yard to play in. Working from the terrace with a view of avocado trees and coffee plants was spectacular. The one thing to consider with this property is that it is a mile or two from the downtown area. We loved that because it was quiet and secluded; we also had rented a car for the week to drive to the other places we wanted to see. 10/10 - will definitely return

Dominga's spacious and nice house near Xochimilco

BillRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Excellent, excellent, excellent. The house is spacious, extremely clean and well decorated, and has everything you could want in the kitchen and elsewhere. The location is great, close enough to walk to the Centro but also with lots of shops and restaurants close by, and the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The best thing about Casa Dominga is Rocío - she is simply the best host we've ever had. So friendly, responsive, and communicative. We hope to come back!

A Colonial Dream -Lush Patios | Downtown

JodiRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Beautiful home with great indoor/outdoor living. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, great location for walking to shops, restaurants, and Oaxaca attractions. A bit loud at times. It was not the fault of the Airbnb, but one evening a nearby alarm sounded from 2am til 9am and it was horribly loud. Because of the open roof, sound seemed to travel right in. Cleaning services were great. Beware that there is a neighborhood cat who likes to stop by and there were lizards on the ceilings most evenings. Wonderful, friendly accommodating hosts. Really loved this beautiful home and the courtyard atrium.

Beautiful spacious house with a great location and A/C

OscarRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We only stayed one night, but we genuinely wish we had booked a longer stay! The house was incredibly spacious, beautifully set up, and packed with thoughtful amenities. It had everything we needed and more, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A major plus is that the property is located right next to a hotel, and the 24-hour receptionist there is available to assist with any issues—adding an extra layer of convenience and peace of mind. Whether you’re staying for a quick visit or a longer trip, this place is a fantastic choice—comfortable, well-equipped, and very welcoming. Highly recommend!
