Mateo’s spot was the perfect place for our late night landing in Medellin. Though we only stayed for one night, we felt right at home and had everything we needed! The shower was beautiful and had amazing hot water with good pressure, the kitchen was easy to cook in, and the views were spectacular. The bed was also very comfortable. We loved that it was so close to the airport but felt far away from the chaos of the city. We used Mateo’s driver Julian, who was very kind and helpful, and even took us on to our next town we visited. Mateo was very helpful with everything planning ahead and always available if we had questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Juan Diego's home is a perfect getaway from the city, while still feeling apart of it. You are close enough to take a quick bus ride anywhere into the city - or 30-45 minute walk to nearest town. Park Arvi has farmers markets on the weekends, and is a really amazing place to checkout if you are in Santa Elena. The patio is a shared space that connects the guesthomes to the main home. There are a few coffee shops that are walkable, one right outside the cabin, another few about a 10-20 minute walk along the mountain. There is a beautiful waterfall that is about a 15 minute walk you can explore. Juan is a very kind person, as you can tell by the thoughtfulness of his home, he also has his own coffee plants in his backyard and made me an incredible coffee in the morning! Such a lovely time.
