I've stayed in at least a half dozen other airbnb places in the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area over the last years, and this location was by far the nicest. It's very quiet and nicely appointed; easy parking and easy access; close to downtown Palo Alto; and above all, Bob was a wonderful host. Very easy to communicate and responses were almost instantaneous. I hope to have the chance to stay again the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

Place was great! Small, but that was great for us. Loved that it came with the bikes, surfboards, hot tub, fire pit, etc. we used everything! Evan was very responsive to questions and helpful with recommendations.

I love Tom's place! This was my second time staying. It is a beautiful oasis. Super quiet, peaceful, comfortable space, perfect for writing, working, and rest away from the city, yet still convenient to all the amenities of Los Altos. Tom is a lovely host and goes out of his way to be accommodating. This is one of only a few affordable and high quality Airbnbs in the area. Highly recommend!

Liz’s rental exceeded expectations. It felt very cozy, providing that beach home feeling. The beach was a quick stroll away, and it is dog friendly! My pup and I very much enjoyed our time at Liz’s spot. Thank you for relaxing vacation Liz!

Chrissy's Airbnb is a fantastic stay in downtown SJ. It's quiet, safe, very comfortable with an excellent kitchen. I felt right at home for 2 weeks, and being near the 280 it was a great base for easy travel to Santa Clara, Campbell and Los Gatos. Chrissy is a great host and very friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again.

This is the 3rd time I've had the pleasure of staying at this unit and it never disappoints. It is comfortable, roomy, and just perfect for my short business trips. They communicate well and are available to help if needed. I hope to come back!

Exactly what I needed for my long weekend in Santa Cruz. Soquel is super quiet and it’s minutes from Capitola Beach. Great option for me as a solo traveler on a budget.

The location is a destination in and of itself! Gorgeous property with cozy and homey furnishings. The linens were fresh and smelled so good! Beautiful views everywhere you look inside the suite. They event out pillows in the bench next to the window so you can gaze and watch the sunset. My favorite part is the garden swing next to the orange tree. The hot tub is luxurious as well—great for a couples retreat or break from the busy city

This continues to be a lovely place to stay and our favourite in the region. We have stayed at this location a few times over the past few years. The care and cleanliness are kept up and the garden is always beautiful. This season it was yellow roses and blossoms on the strawberry plants. Thanks Tamara and Tim for your extra help with a parcel delivery. We hope to return on another trip.

Absolutely magical stay! The cabin was tucked right next to the creek and surrounded by beautiful redwoods — it felt like our own private retreat. So peaceful, quiet, and close to nature. The cabin itself was super cute, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My dog and I truly loved every moment — we didn’t want to leave! We’ve already booked our return in September and even added an extra night. Can’t wait to come back!

I had a great stay! Everyone is friendly, helpful, and relaxed. Though the place is small it makes extremely good use of the room available. Being situated in the backyard, there is a good feeling of privacy and one can also be sitting outside for breakfast or to work. I can only recommend the place.

It was a genuine pleasure to meet Bear Haus! Really a lovely person! The two “haus me” homes (MicroHaus Pro and the M1 Pro) that we stayed in are exceptional in every sense of the word! I can’t wait to go back!

What a wonderful stay! We loved feeling so far away even though we were so close to town and the coast. In proper winter fashion, we stayed cozy and cooked hearty meals. Any cooking improvisational moves we needed to make, Patricia was there to help us out. The persimmons, the fairy lights in the rain, the chatty chickens—it all lent to a beautiful stay. This darling little beach cottage was everything I hoped for. It reminded me of the surf bungalows from decades ago but with all modern amenities. I wanted peace and quiet and the tranquil surroundings—wind chimes, water fountain and the Monterey Bay a block away—delivered! Sita and Tom were always available if I had questions but they were never intrusive. The Pleasure Point neighborhood (where I lived 50 years ago) is still just as friendly and the Bay’s beauty, with the ever-changing waves and surfers, never fails to bring me joy. All in all, a lovely experience ❤️

We were looking for a special place for our 40th wedding anniversary and this cottage far exceeded our expectations! it was simply beautiful! and our hosts were incredibly helpful. we hope to return again

The Santa Cruz A-frame was such a serene retreat into the mountains for us, and an antidote to our overly digital and urban lives. Things we appreciated: easy parking, both an upstairs and downstairs bathroom, full kitchen supplies, private balcony, gorgeous forest views, creek in the back, and easy access to Loch Lomond (peddle boating on the lake was so peaceful), the redwood state park (hiking in the largely shaded trail was great on an otherwise sunny day), and local groceries and food (enjoyed the cute outdoor patio in the back of The Grove cafe and bakery). We had a wonderful rest!

I had a great three-month stay at this peaceful accommodation in Eric and Rebecca's garden while visiting Stanford Research Park. The hosts were incredibly kind, regularly checking in and offering helpful local suggestions. The space was quiet and tranquil and the sunny outdoor area made for perfect breakfast spots among the birds and fragrant flowers. Eric and Rebecca shared delicious oranges from their tree. The location is excellent – 15 minutes to San Antonio train station, with nearby bus stops, Safeway, etc. The free Palo Alto Link service to the research park is just five minutes away, making car-free exploration easy. Secure bicycle storage is available. The accommodation felt modern, clean, and well-maintained with great natural light, comfortable sleeping, and a functional workspace. The bathroom and shower were modern, and the kitchen included fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, and storage (no cooktop or oven). Perfect for long-term research visits – highly recommended!

We were lucky to find an opening for the dates we needed it for. Everything provided for the 3 of us visiting. Very quiet neighborhood - you just have to pass through several businesses to get to the place but once you are the property, it is peaceful and quiet. Love the attention to detail, and the walkway lights were all solar powered and triggered by motion detectors and they all worked flawlessly. Check in instructions were missing in Airbnb page but a quick message to the host and I received a response immediately with the necessary information. very responsive host. Thanks for everything.

Linda was the best host I’ve ever had!!! My girlfriend and I spent just a night here to celebrate our anniversary and I have to say that I wish we could’ve stay longer here at the Ohana suite. Linda was super nice and explained all the outdoor items so we could use. We’re definitely going to come back again because this place looks way better in person and couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else while in Aptos than this place right here

Super comfortable space. Totally easy to come and go. Very private and quiet. Melanie was very responsive and proactive and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed. It was great!
