Cottage vacation rentals in Sant Mateu

Very nice accommodation in the heart of Sierra de Irta en Castellón. It consists of several floors and the rooms are as shown in the photos and description. Each has its own private bathroom, which gives more room to privacy and intimacy. The common areas, both the kitchen and the living room upstairs are spacious. It is located in a quiet village, about 20 minutes from Peñíscola by car, which we recommend visiting. The excellent host, we had a bit of a problem upon arrival and tried to fix it at the moment. In addition to giving us some flexibility if we needed it. Overall, an apartment that I recommend if you want to visit Castellón.

A great house, very nice with everything you need to spend a few quiet days and enjoy both the house and the many routes you can do without the need to take the car. We were very comfortable and Pablo was very attentive to our needs, and even recommended some things to do or see in the village. If the jacuzzi can seem incredible, which is, the terrace does not stay behind, with views of the mountains you can breathe tranquility in it. In any case, it is highly recommended.

We've been very comfortable. Rosana is very friendly and gave us a lot of ease from the beginning, in addition to telling us what they were doing around the village that night (it was New Year's Eve). After the 1st night he asked us what's up. We told you that the bells are a little annoying when sleeping, and the cushions are very uncomfortable, and he brought us other cushions to try to make us the best we could. She's a good host. The village is very friendly and open to new people. Thank you for everything!

We had a lovely weeks stay at this villa. Everything was as per the listing, we loved the house, the location and the pool. It was perfect for us to unwind after spending a week staying in various beautiful Spanish towns. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for being lovely hosts with a wonderful home.

Marta has taken care of us great all the time, the house was very clean and it was just like the photos, it was in the center of the village very well located. Highly recommended!

We had a great weekend in the apartment. It is very nice, spacious and bright, as well as being clean and tidy. The views and location are incredible, in the Delta rice fields and close to the beach. Good communication with the hosts, who have been very flexible with check-in and checkout times. A beautiful place!

It was a fantastic experience; Fran was waiting for us on arrival, and kindly guided us to the house. He was very attentive to our needs. We enjoyed a few great days in their beautiful home, quiet and very comfortable. Great for going with kids and enjoying the silence and views. We'll be back!

Masia is a nice and quiet place for exploring the hinterland. Beautiful walking tours. The house was clean, spacious and modern furnished. The communication was quick and consistent Maria and her husband was very helpful to us. Thanks again for this.

we were welcomed by Christina and her mother. we were impressed by the beautiful cottage and location. cottage was nice and clean and smelled wonderfully fresh. what sweet people Christina and her parents are. cottage was perfect and hst associated swimming pool too. this is a must for everyone!!!!!

A very unique little town! If you want to experience off the beating track then this place won’t disappoint. Small community, beautiful streets and buildings in the middle of mountainous terrain. Friendly people. If you aren’t a confident driver just be careful of the narrow streets and steep hills!

I recommend staying at Villa Rufol 100%! It's a very cozy and great place to spend a few days with the family. The host is a super close, kind, charming person who makes everything very easy. A 10/10 for both the stay and the host!

We chose the location of Alvar’s place as it was near to La Rapita which is further along the coast where some of our friends live. Sant Jaume d’Enveja is a sleepy town at this time of year, but had good amenities for its size. There is a great Spar about 5 minutes away which has everything you need. Mas Mido is a perfect holiday cottage with simplistic styling with rustic chic. The beds are firm but comfortable & the on-suite bathrooms are clean & charming. The weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t take advantage of the outside seating area. There is a short track that leads straight from the garden to the Ebro river & cycle track. We visited the Ebro Delta near La Rapita & were amazed by the huge flocks of flamingos ! A truly wondrous sight ! Perfectly pleasant stay in Pilar's house, very comfortable, we were 10 adults, very nicely decorated with refinement, very well equipped, excellent bedding, very clean. Pilar is very welcoming and attentive. In a nice little friendly village, we ate 2 evenings at the tapas bar l Albentosa, good atmosphere, nice welcome and excellent cuisine. We highly recommend this house, you won't be disappointed, as well as the Albentosa bar opposite the town hall.

Our stay was wonderful at Venancio’s lovely house! A very peaceful and cozy property, where we felt totally at ease. We would recommend!

Everything is great, the house is much better in person than in the photos, it looks smaller and older, actually the house is spacious and the rooms are not as small as it looks.

The hostess is very kind and helpful; she informed us of everything to do in the area and where to eat well. We found the accommodation to be very faithful to the photos and above all very cool now that the heat is starting.

Our family of 5 ( including a baby) had a really great four day stay in Lo Dispensari . The house itself is lovely - comfortable, spacious and well equipped, with easy access to all that the Ebro delta has to offer. What made the place exceptional for us though was Ildefons’ wife Sion and her friend Lolin, both of whom were so friendly and helpful to us, especially when we were stranded by a nation wide power cut. They could not have done more for us, and we will always be grateful for their generosity. Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time at Sonia's! The house is very well equipped, everything is clean and in perfect condition. It is a very comfortable house, surrounded by a very beautiful landscape in the middle of nature and at the same time, very close to the village. Sonia is a great host, very willing to help us with everything we needed and very quick to answer our questions. The house is full of nice touches for guests. Overall a 100% recommended stay

We loved our 10 day stay at this house including our dog. The house was more remote then the ad showed but that worked fine for us but had we known we would have brought more supplies for that day\evening. House was lovely and clean and tidy with everything we wanted for a 10 day stay, in particular the views from the terrace day and night are incredible and peaceful. Overall we wanted peace and tranquillity with the aim of hiking every day and this house was perfect.

We had a wonderful week with our children at Javier's in Aín. Javier is a very uncomplicated and flexible host. The apartment is very nice, clean and also very well located. In the immediate vicinity of the apartment begins a hiking trail that leads to the castle and into the nature park. We also liked the village very much. It is quiet and peaceful, but has a good offer with the village shop, the bar and a large playground. Javier also gave us great tips for excursions to the sea and mountains. We will be happy to come back!
