Located in front of the World Heritage Site "Horyu-ji Temple" in Madara-cho, Nara It is a nostalgic yet somehow new, special house. The floors on each floor are made of cypress from Yoshino, Nara, the same material used in the construction of Horyuji Temple. It can accommodate up to 9 guests. It is also recommended for stays with friends, such as "adult school trips", creative training camps, and travelers who love architecture. There are supermarkets, cafes, Chinese restaurants, dango shops, specialty bakeries, Japanese restaurants that have won Michelin stars, famous confectionery shops, and other urban areas nearby. On the other hand, there are also quiet landscapes dotted with the old charm of Madara, where you can enjoy a relaxing stroll. Nakamiya-ji Temple, which has a national treasure, the Half-Recumbent Buddha, Hoki-ji Temple, a World Heritage site alongside Horyu-ji Temple, Jikoin Temple, which has a magnificent view overlooking the Daiheino Plain, and Mt. Sanshitsu and the Tatsuta River, which were also mentioned in the Hyakunin Isshu, are also nearby. Enjoy the town surrounded by historic Tsukiji walls in the clear early morning air, and experience Madarao as if you had your own home there. Although the inn is conveniently located along the national highway, it is not recommended for those who are sensitive to noise and vibration. You can rent an entire guest house in an authentic Japanese house from the Taisho period, built about 100 years ago. You can have a relaxing stay in Nara without hesitation. Right next to Nara Park, about 10 minutes on foot to Kintetsu Nara Station. It is also easy to take a quiet walk in the early morning or at dusk. Same price for up to 4 people.It can accommodate up to 9 people. The Japanese house, built in the Taisho period, is full of charm with its lattice windows, tea room, veranda, and courtyard. Please relax in the living room with a sunken kotatsu facing the courtyard. The kitchen is equipped with an IH stove, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, pots, cooking utensils, etc. Please enjoy cooking together, watching the garden, and gathering around the sunken table for a hot pot! There are two toilets and two shower rooms. There are no facilities like a hotel, but we would appreciate it if you could have a nostalgic atmosphere and a relaxing time. There are only bedrooms, a total of 3 rooms (4 rooms if you divide the large Japanese-style room). We will prepare it according to the number of people. A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

The nearest station is Oji Station on the JR Line (18 minutes from Osaka Tennoji Station). It is about a 20-minute bus ride from Oji Station. If you are coming by train, we will pick you up at the nearest station. The last pick-up time is 7:00 PM. After that, please use the bus. There is a lovely hot spring nearby, or you can walk there. There is a barbecue facility in the garden. Convenient access to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino.
