Fugleøya Runde - cozy older farmhouse

The house is located at the end of Goksøyra with easy access to mountains and fjær. Only 30 min. walk to Fuglefjellet. It has been recently gently refurbished inside. The bathroom is brand new and is on the 1st floor. It is laid out with 6 sleeping places, but may be best suited for 4 people(2 double rooms). The third bedroom has 2 single beds. The stairs up to the bedrooms are steep. Screened patio and own garden. It takes 25 minutes to drive to the municipal center Fosnavåg.

Stokksund Vicarage

Stokksund Vicarage is a locally protected cultural heritage site from 1823 that is located in scenic surroundings halfway between the Norwegian Sea and the fjords. With sea views and a lush garden surrounding the courtyard, the vicarage blends naturally into the landscape and offers experiences both inside and out. Here you have the house to yourself. This house is one of the oldest in the village, and has an older decor. The house has its habits and tricks. Smoking only allowed outdoors. To rinse wetsuits, there is cold water at the back of the service building below the church. Wetsuits can be hung to dry inside the garage. There's no way to put on too much heat without the fuses going off. NRK 1, 2 and 3 are the only TV channels, and there is a radio in the living room.

Edel House on Runde - by the path to Lundeura

Edel House is the oldest house in Goksøyr, and situated on the path to the mountain and birdrocks. It is built in 1816, so we can describe the house as a grand old lady, who like all elderly personages, has her quirks and personality, and we hope that you our guests will look upon these with mild friendly eyes and a holiday spirit.

The house is situated in the middle of Ervika village on Stadlandet. Walking distance to the beach as well as some great hiking opportunities. This is a beautiful village with extreme weather, spectacular nature, friendly locals and farmers. Summer season can be busy with visitors and farming life.

My boathouse is as close as you can get to the waterfront. It is built in a navy style with lots of antique items from a former career at sea. I believe it has what is needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday on a quiet Island on the norwegian westcoast.
