This place was great! The view is amazing, very clean, and was described to a T. Very nice!

Checked in the Friday before Memorial weekend 2025 for a NHSCA national dual tournament, it was already busy in the area. The listing was literally about a block and a half from the beach and on Pacific Ave. close to Atlantic Ave. so much more quiet that the walking traffic on Atlantic Ave. The listing was clean and taken care of. Jackie was accommodating with some requests and personable. I highly recommend her listing and we will absolutely book again. Thank you Jackie!!! Genyl Bayona

What an amazing stay! I've never been satisfied with an Airbnb, the photos always are so much nicer than the reality - but Big Blue was actually even better than advertised! Merlyn's communication prior to arrival made things very easy. Accessing the unit was simple, and I felt safe with the self-locking doors. The unit was clean and so comfortable, with many personal touches - I instantly felt at home. I was overjoyed when I arrived and toured the unit. Really exceeded my expectations which was such a different feeling than all the other Airbnb I've rented over the years. The beach access was tidy and pretty, the gym and beach gear a nice touch, and the foot wash station was appreciated after my morning walks with the dog. I really can't say enough great things about my stay here. Hosts were friendly and helpful every step of the way. We mostly spent our time traveling around the area from VA Beach to OBX so I can't speak much about Norfolk/Ocean View. I would def rent Big Blue again.

Beautiful studio/apartment with an amazing view of the beach! Everything is easily accessible and close by to walk to! Definitely would recommend!

This was our first time renting from an Airbnb. Our host Wendy was very friendly and explained everything in great detail. I only had a few questions and she was very quick to respond and made me feel at ease. The rental is extremely clean and the pictures honestly don’t do it justice. It was absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for making our first Airbnb such a positive experience!

This studio is perfect for a 2-person getaway! It had everything we needed and is in a great location right at the top of the boardwalk and right near the beach. There are several restaurant options and shops within walking distance and the bikes were definitely a bonus. We really enjoyed riding them on the boardwalk bike path! Kim and Owen were excellent hosts and very friendly and communicative right from the get go! Their place was clean, up to date, and the perfect size for 2 people looking to enjoy the beach. Thank you both for such a wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay at this lovely condo! The location is phenomenal - Right next to the boardwalk leading to the beach. So many great restaurants within walking distance & easy to access parking & the property itself. Highly recommend!

This beach condo is very walkable to Virginia Beach and lots of shops/restaurants. Parking is included and very handy. The front door opens onto the U shaped parking lot for the building, which feels a bit exposed, but there are 3 locks on the door, which helps. The walls are pretty thin and the footsteps from the upstairs unit were notable. The unit itself had everything as advertised and also had a few beach towels/chairs/beach bag which is nice!

The stay was perfect for what we needed during our stay in Williamsburg. It was nice to walk to the nearby marina and restaurant in the evenings.

Very nice place peaceful. We enjoyed the balcony. The place was close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay wle will definitely be back. The steps where a little to much but great overall.

Gayle’s place was a great location to stay at with our dog!!! Great neighborhood to walk him in and the marina/beach is an added bonus! Gayle was very communicative and check in was easy. The space of the condo was great for a family and large dog! We will definitely be staying again!

i am very familiar with this area and of course the beach we always go to is 10 steps away from this airbnb! it is so clean inside and spacious, clear check in, beautiful backyard space with a large deck and the grill and surfboards! i think the best part is that the tv comes with disney plus and hulu and all the streaming services, so we are able to watch all of our shows from at home! the host, mike, was very friendly and i talked to him for a short while at sunrise. he’s very nice and a great host, he offered checking in earlier and checking out late because there was nobody else booked! so happy with this whole experience and the house fit my whole family with a couple guests too! i want to be selfish and say don’t book, but for the best experience, you need to book here!

My family and I had an amazing time at Karim’s place. The place is spacious, clean, and easily accommodates up to 6 people. The location is great and its peaceful, AND close to the beach. Not to forget the neighbors who were helpful. We highly recommend Karim’s place, especially for families.

This is truly a hidden gem in Cape Charles! We recently stayed for the long holiday weekend and loved every minute of our trip. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and the location couldn't be better. We enjoyed having the ability to walk around town and have stores and restaurants so close by. The host was friendly and helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We look forward to staying here again!

This was such a nice place to stay. I was there the whole time my mom and sister came for two days. Great to watch the sunrise one way and the sunset the other. Wonderful to hear the waves the whole time. Just a great location. I love the sandbridge area and the sanctuary is just the best place since its so peaceful and away from the busyness of downtown virginia beach. Would recommend and would come again. Lots of rooms and beds, there was enough room for everyone and we still had a space to be together.

Awesome place!!! Definitely recommend.

We are locals hosting northern family. We were able to enjoy a much needed rest while getting a last piece of summer. The condo is “easy - Breezy”! We felt at home, and cared for. Our guests felt like we were staying somewhere special! * we observed some small items to be shared - queen bdrm - closet door stop, had been forced through door King en-suite #2 shower head broke. Hall ceiling canned light outside wash/ dry - drooping. Chandelier light bulb out. Bedroom TV remote battery dead. We replaced the batteries. Floor lamp - on/ off switch broken. Had to plug, unplug. Single bed, top bunk wasn’t made. No fitted sheet. Tall glass got broke in dishwasher, and a mug was dropped and broken. These observations Didn’t keep us from enjoying ourselves, but necessary for you to know to keep your standards consistent. Thank you.

Stay was absolutely wonderful, this condo made it very hard to leave. The condo was very clean and well put together. Small thoughtful details made it a delight- checkers anyone…the kids loved playing checkers and I loved not seeing them glued to their phones, tournament winner picked the dinner spot. Absolutely perfect stay, at an absolutely perfect place. It was so nice inside we decided to eat “at home” one of the nights. Kudos to the family that owns this unit, your place made us feel at home and we loved it!! Thank you

Eric's place was perfect for our celebration with extended family. The location was incredible(!). And the accessibility of the building and proximity to the beach was more than ideal for our mobility-challenged family members. We made many great memories in this place. Additionally, Eric was communicative and responsive. Highly recommend.

Duane was very helpful in setting up our reservation and recommending attractions and restaurants. There was live music and lunch and dinner every night that you could hear from the balcony, lots of really good restaurants within a couple of blocks. The pools were never crowded and the temperature was just right. Duane got us a reservation on the 15th floor, so the view of the beach and city and night were amazing. All the amenities were as describe (just note that the washer/dryer every other floor, it's not in-unit). The kitchen is a bit small and dated, so if you like to do a lot of cooking, you might struggle a bit in this department. It is a timeshare, so beware of the "Welcome Center" after you check in; there is some friendly small talk before being hit with the 90min speech appointment request. We booked last minute and I thought it was a bit pricey, but I looked up the rates of the same room configuration directly from Hilton and you're definitely saving money. A+
