Vacation rentals with a kayak in Sanbornton

We had a great stay at Brandon’s place. The house is cozy and clean, and the location right on the lake made it really special. We grilled every night, used the kayaks during the day, and hung out by the fire pit in the evenings. It was super quiet and peaceful, and the view from the dining table made board games and meals even better. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole space just had a really relaxed, homey feel. Brandon was easy to communicate with and everything went smoothly. It was a great spot to unplug and enjoy some time by the water — we’d definitely come back.

Despite some snow and a power outage, our family had a nice, relaxing Thanksgiving holiday at this property. The gas fireplace was a blessing and helped us stay warm during the outage. The house was well-equipped and had all amenities as advertised. Merrill was a great host!

Our family had a great trip and we would love to rent this house again. The house was absolutely beautiful, with lovely views in a private setting. Everything is new and clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck, fishing and using the kayaks and paddle board. Darryl was a fantastic host, checked in with us, was super responsive and friendly - even providing recommendations for restaurants in the area.

We went to Steven’s home on Lake Winnisquam for our daughter’s graduation. The house is direct lake front, stunning panoramic views! The home is beautiful, updated and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked, the washer/dryer convenient on main floor. Gas fireplace chased away coolness of the spring mornings and creates cozy ambiance. Comfy furniture! On the roomy screened porch the furniture is excellent quality. There is a drink fridge and ice maker on the porch for your convenience. The baths and bedrooms were immaculate. We appreciated full size beds. The neighbors are friendly and had a smile when we walked our dog or drove to the house. Great parking spaces, beautiful lawn area with firepit, seating space under the porch, gas grill, private dock, kayaks and more. Lake is pristine. Steven responds very quickly to inquiries and is a top notch host! Great coffee/tea station, thoughtful amenities! Will come again in a heartbeat!

We would absolutely stay here again. This host was a great host- very responsive and available to answer questions. The accommodations is awsome & included everything we needed. The exterior entrance was a nice plus, and the little sitting area with a view of the open field a delight. As a plus Quiet but within easy walking distance to everything We wanted to see! This place is amazing- absolutely what I expected based on the photos.This little house had everything I needed and even a view of the birds from the porch! This is an incredibly comfortable and remarkably well equipped lakefront house. Plenty of kitchen supplies and tools to keep the cooks happy, and all of the water gear anyone could ask for. We especially appreciated the large porch overlooking the lake. Close to the busy road (as was described in the listing), but blocked off and made visually private by fencing. Owners incredible, responding almost instantly, warmly, and generously.

Carl and his cohosts were wonderful to work with, quick to respond with any needs. We had a great time this weekend, enjoyed the house and beautiful lake. Hope to return someday and look forward to working with them in the future!

We had a great extended long weekend stay at Karen’s!! The place was warm & inviting- perfect for a colder than anticipated Memorial Day Weekend — we took advantage of the pellet stove and were still able to take in awesome lake views from the comfort of the living room. Our young girls had a blast “swimming” in the large jacuzzi bath tub and playing/ sleeping on the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. We did manage to get out on our boat which was easy to dock at the slip associated with the rental. No fish caught this time around but still fun trying. The location of Karen’s place is awesome- very close/ walking distance to tasty restaurants & public boat launch. We cooked most of our own meals & were grateful for the well stocked kitchen as well as having a grocery store less than 5 min away. Karen was a fantastic host with quick response times from time of booking & then following checkout ensuring that our stay was as seamless as possible. We hope to return in the future! 😊

We had a great time at Robert’s place. The home has everything you could want, and there are plenty of things to do in the area. It was a great home base for our weekend! The kids loved the game room!

Beautiful spot on the water with great fishing, was a bunch of games inside for the kids which was a huge bonus enjoyed the stay.

They were accommodating, flexible, and very gracious. They had an entire binder of information with details about where to find fans, towels, flashlights, how to work the shower, heat, grill, and about anything else you can think of. It also had emergency services, restaurants, places to have a good time, and good details about checkout expectations. Overall we were extremely happy with the property and our stay, and were honored by the personalization they did for us specifically as it was our Honeymoon and they wrote us a custom note by hand for when we arrived. Highly Recommended - Will Rent Again!

We loved our stay! It ended up being a rainy weekend so we really enjoyed all the little extras the cabin had to offer - especially the crafting cabinet! The house has all these little helpful notes about how best to enjoy the house and your stay. The backyard is beautiful, the kitchen had great little additions (we always forget olive oil!). The beds were comfortable, our kids loved the bunk bed room. The location is great, close to local shops and small treasures but also near big chains should you need a specific item. The house really makes the most of the space. We will definitely be back!

We came up to Joan's lovely cottage for a peaceful, hiking Christmas vaca and it was absolutely perfect. Joan was a wonderful host, very friendly and generous. We wish Joan was our granny too! Granny camp was comfy, cozy, on a beautiful lake, with lots to do in surroundings areas. Would love to come back in the summer! Thank you!

The cottage was lovely with a fantastic view of the lake. The space was well-appointed and cozy. Lots of greats hikes. Conway has a lot of charm. Highly recommended!

We had such an incredible stay! The first day was pretty rainy, but the house was so relaxing and comfortable that it didn’t matter - we enjoyed staying in and looking at the gorgeous view of the lake while doing jigsaw puzzles near the fire. When things did clear up, we had a great time playing in the yard snd kayaking. I was surprised at how quiet it was, especially during Memorial Day weekend. The beds were super comfy, kitchen was great, shower and tub were wonderful. Lisa left great instructions and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. And she was very kind in allowing us a late checkout, which was very helpful with three young kids. I can’t wait to visit again!

We had a great time at Molly's cabin. We were looking for a quiet stay and we had that. Lots of walking and hiking. The cabin was just as described snd Molly was a fantastic host. Thank you Molly!

I was so happy staying at Brooke's cabin. There was so much to be happy with, I'll do my best to list them all! 1. Brooke was well responsive - I ran into 2 small problems and she was proactive and fixed them fast. 2. The whole place is super dog friendly! I am often worried where my dog is and isn't allowed in Airbnbs, not here! Brooke even left out dog toys, bowls,and beds as well! 3. All linens were cleaned, even the throw blankets! 4. the trail in the backyard is a nice touch! unfortunately I didn't have many non rainy days so only got to explore some of it, but it is a different world back there! 5. The kitchen is incredible: 3 different ways to make coffee along with a frother and a grinder! the pots and pans are chef's choice! and the knives aren't dull! I was well equipped to cook and theres plenty of space to do so. 6. the bathtub is a godsend! 7. incredible library! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Another wonderful stay at Linda's home! We have been lucky to enjoy her beautiful and welcoming home many times. Lots of family memories made over the years! We are grateful for the opportunity to visit and a caring and thoughtful host!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. First time a place was even better than the photos. Private. Clean. So quiet. Comfortable. Everything we wanted plus ! Felt like we were millions of miles away and a short drive to all attractions. The kayaks, canoe, fire pit and hot tub were used and enjoyed. 3 nights - could’ve stayed way longer ! Don’t hesitate if you’re looking to relax, unwind and enjoy nature. Hands down our new favorite spot and can’t wait to go back ! John and Cassie were very responsive and excellent hosts !

We had a wonderful stay! They had the cabin fully stocked and pretty much everything we needed to feel right at home. There were clear instructions on how to use everything and gave many suggestions on things to do. We also loved the decor, especially in the sitting/game room! We would definitely come back again.

Great stay at the Sugar Shack! Such a fun space tucked away by the water. The hosts were very communicative and thought of everything.
