Staying at Casita Escondida for a month has been nothing short of magical. In English, the name translates to “little hidden house,” but it is so much more than that—it’s a hidden gem of peace, beauty, and warmth. Each morning began with breathtaking sunrises, and each evening closed with serene sunsets over the ocean-facing mountains. The lush landscaping, vibrant greenery, inviting swimming pool, and peaceful terrace created an atmosphere of total tranquility. From one side of the terrace, I looked out over nature’s splendour—and from the other, I was graced with the presence of my host, whose heart of gold added depth and kindness to this beautiful stay. The accommodations are serene, thoughtfully designed, and perfect for rest and reflection. Just a short walk down the hill lies a charming little village and the ocean, offering the best of both worlds: secluded calm and local life. I leave Casita Escondida with a full heart and immense gratitude. A truly unforgettable experience

I like peaceful places. This place is where you want to be ! I'll recommend it to all of my family and friends. The lake is within 5 min and the view is beautiful !

Extremely laid back atmosphere and beautiful outdoor area. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, the hammocks and the pool. Elisabeth was always available with good advice and had valuable connections to local services and Dan even helped me fix my motor bike.

Loved the penthouse !!! I stayed for 4 nights Anything I needed was happily given ! The great private balcony ! Bed was comfortable! Not to hard not too soft , perfect in between.close walk to beach ! Dan picked up at airport and drove me around town , His daughter is so sweet she toured me around town and beach and helped me order food in Spanish .Dan wife Elizabeth is so kind and sweet she drove me to El Tunco ! I asked for a coffee maker and I had one 😎the pool was so amazing I spent most of my time in there , Augustt is very hot !!! Loved the shower and the pressure was best i ever had ! Water is cool but feels So good in heat ! The out door shower is super also ! The place was walled / safe 2 doors with codes to enter , even a shower at entrance from beach . Town is so safe !!!!!! I’m a single lady and I had no issues . The place was so quiet no partying!!! No smoking !!! Met nice people staying there ! He has 5 rooms to rent and then his place . Everyone was so respectful! Love

it was a very beautiful and peaceful stay. loved the beach and the running water In front of the house , on high tide we were even able to catch fish with out hands. it was beautiful and loved the hospitality. Definitely booking again hopefully in cooler weather to really enjoy the place.

Hay un atajo a la mejor ola del Salvador, y acceso rápido de la ruta

La estadia fue agradable, nos dieron la facilidad de poder agregar 3 personas más pagando adicional, las habitaciones son bonitas y amplias, no hay lugares cerca que vendan comida, por lo que es mejor llevar uno sus alimentos, las personas que cuidan la casa y la anfitriona estuvieron pendiente cuando necesitamos ayuda, definitivamente volvería a elegirlo en una próxima salida

位置还可以，周围比较安静，似乎有公交车经过，但我一直没等到，就打车了。房子在一个封闭的院子里，很安全，客厅和房间内的设施干净精致，柜子上还有漂亮的摆件。房间里白天很热，幸好有风扇。淋雨水非常冷并且地漏堵住了，或许只是暂时的问题。 Tito非常友善和耐心。我不懂西班牙语，用翻译软件交流并入住的，还是提前用文字询问确定好入住信息更好（地址比较隐蔽）。谢谢Tito给我提供的各种帮助。

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! Julio and his family truly set the gold standard for hospitality. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. The apartment itself is stylish and cozy. It's located within walking distance of different restaurants and shops, and a short drive away from other attractions. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in San Salvador.

El hospedaje nos pareció muy cómodo, su ubicación está en una zona central a los puntos de interés de la ciudad y era muy sencillo movilizarse con aplicaciones de transporte. Su privacidad, al contar con unidad cerrada y vigilancia privada, brinda un mayor grado de seguridad, el vigilante Ramón muy servicial. El acondicionamiento de la cocina 10/10, tiene todo lo necesario, se agradece que incluyeron el kit para lavado de la ropa. El uso de la lavadora/secadora fue muy util ya que tendríamos otro viaje para otro país y llevarse la ropa limpia ayuda. Patricia estuvo muy atenta a las solicitudes realizadas, muy agradecidos. Nos fuimos muy contentos de conocer el gran país que tienen ahora, y volveremos con toda seguridad. Esperamos volvernos a hospedar con ustedes, y que la próxima vez que vayamos, su país siga siendo el ejemplo de prosperidad y seguridad que todos buscamos, felicitaciones por lo que ha logrado. 👏🏼

Very nice place, Marta's family was very gentle and kind. The common area was spacious, we could cook there, it had a good aquipment. Also the room was fine, only the moskitos were a little bit annoying. Location was perfect, center is easy to reach by bus. Marta is a super host! Communication was always kind and helpful.

Rolando was the sweetest host! He accommodated our early arrival, then gave us a ride to the historical center and shared so many tips about what to visit and the history of the city. The room was as per the pictures, with ac and private bathroom. Towels were provided :) Only improvement would be to have anti cockroach sprayed in the room.

This was my favorite place in San Salvador! It is very spacious, comfy, clean, private, quiet. It's a beautiful old house with a beautiful garden turned into Airbnb. It has everything you need during your stay and more. The location is perfect, just cross the street and there is a mall. There are many stores, restaurants, supermarkets at walkable distance. Sebastian was super responsive and helpful. Will absolutely stay here next time and definitely recommend to anyone coming to San Salvador.
