We had an amazing stay at this place, we really enjoyed the heated pool. The house is huge and has everything you need. There was a coffee maker, coffee, BBQ charcoal, clean bath and pool towels, and cleaning supplies available. the host was very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

An absolutely stunning property, with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home stay. Fantastic pool and pool house as well. Large kitchen/ dining/ living area meant that even with 8 adults staying it never felt crowded. Fresh baked goods left for our arrival as well as complementary toiletries. Tania and her husband were so helpful even arranging an early check in at the last minute. Genuinely is only 15 minutes drive from Bilbao and the beach, although bus stop is only a short walk away. Couple of restaurants in the local town are a short walk away. Comment from a past visitor about security cameras was over exaggerated, there is one camera pointing at the back of the garden and not into or around the house. Also felt very safe as there is the regional police headquarters behind the property 😂(but doesn’t overlook it at all). We will definitely be returning to this property and to beautiful Bilbao.

Everything is taken care of in detail and you can see the care with which it is designed to make guests feel at home. The surroundings are even more special: a charming town of Cantabria, with an idyllic landscape that invites you to disconnect, breathe pure air and enjoy the silence. We also want to highlight David, the host, for his closeness, kindness and availability at all times. It is very much appreciated to find people like that when you travel. It's been a wonderful stay. It was all spectacular; the location, the house, the garden... It was a weekend of friends and we all liked it. Also, I have brought 3 b*****s who enjoyed it with the very good care and fenced ground. Surely we repeat experience.

we had a great holiday at the house. The photos don't show enough how big and beautiful the garden is. Also the house is more spacious than we expected in the pictures. Received by Lucia upon arrival. Being able to communicate in English. (I don't speak Spanish). There was also a delicious local delicacy ready for us. Very attending. The house was sparkling clean. And more spacious than I expected. The garden is large and fully fenced so our dog could walk loose. There was space for sun and shade. From the covered porch we had mountain views. The pool was wonderful as well. We were able to swim in it on hot days. It is large enough for a family of 4. The peace, the silence. Only sounds of the countryside. Cows, dogs, birds, toads. Very restful. And last but not least, the area. Really beautiful. What a beautiful region. Lucia thank you!

We had a great stay, the house was very clean and Jose was such a lovely guy. He was always contactable. He gave us lots of recommendations on things to do and places to visit which we did and throughly enjoyed them all. The pool was beautiful and our kids really enjoyed it. Check in and out was flexible which was excellent.

If you are looking for a quiet, historical, peaceful experience in northern Spain, this is it. The stone house is modernized and comfortable with three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The kitchen is excellent and it was wonderful to have an outdoor space to eat and lounge and enjoy the setting. We stayed five days and there are endless day trips to take to nearby towns, beaches, mountains, markets and restaurants. Diego was a fantastic host and Marta opened the house for us. Both responded immediately to any of our needs. We loved it.

They welcomed us very warmly, everything was just right. Quiet place from which to go anywhere in Cantabria. Very comfortable and perfectly equipped house. Carlos and Ana are great hosts. Highly recommended

Our stay was very pleasant. The house is spacious and perfect for groups: three bathrooms (one per floor), two large living rooms and a separate txoko that, together with the garden, is great for everyone to be together. The area is very quiet, no noise, and it is used both inside and outside. The patio with barbecue is spacious and cozy. Guadalupe, the host, was a sweetheart, very approachable, attentive and flexible with check-out time. Although the turtle pond we saw in the photos was no longer there, everything else was perfect. We felt very comfortable throughout the stay.

Such a beautiful place! The property is just like in the photos — cozy and exactly as described. If you're looking to get away from the city, breathe in fresh mountain air, and enjoy peaceful nature and amazing views, this is the spot. There’s no WiFi, but mobile internet works great, so it wasn’t a problem at all. Big thanks to Maria Jesus for being such a kind and welcoming host! 😊

The stay was wonderful. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos (the bathroom is better than in the photo) and is very clean, it looks brand new, it is tastefully decorated and everything is top quality. Mari has been lovely from the beginning, very friendly and helpful and recommending many things to do, the apartment is very close to Santander and several beaches and that is fantastic, in short a 10, we will repeat.

we are three adults with a dog. enclosed property, the owner himself has a small (well-tolerated) dog, you can tell. Dog blanket on couch and dog bed available, Apartment very clean, tastefully furnished, everything works, wonderful well-kept garden with beautiful hedge as a privacy screen to the street, good grill, 2 good garden loungers, parasol, dining area, in addition breathtaking view from the balcony over the village into the countryside, the best beds (mattresses) I've had in a vacation apartment in years, complete peace at night, The town of Somo does not offer much but Santander is very nice to reach via a small ferry, The beach is huge, finest sand, is cleaned, bathing area monitored, dogs (although prohibited on the beach during the day) were tolerated in June, crystal clear water Beach within walking distance in about 15 minutes via various paths through a pine grove. it was wonderful - thank you Jesus!!

Magnificent host from start to finish. Attentive to needs, with its own initiative indicating trails for hiking in the area... He even left us a couple of gifts! It was a good experience. Noelia is very nice and answered all the questions. Even sending photos of what was in the kitchen so we didn't have to bring too much, etc. He also let us leave later so we took advantage of the last day. The house is incredible, it has everything you could possibly need and more. The incredible garden overlooking the mountain and the super nice surroundings. You have trails nearby, but you can also take the car and 10 minutes away you have trails with waterfalls, etc. The supermarket is a little far away, but by car you can get there easily, and you can also visit the villages a little, with great restaurants, etc. The rooms are very good, everything is very clean and comfortable with views in each one. And the living room with the fireplace is really an amazing area to be at night with plenty of room. It really is an amazing house, we had a great time. Thank you Noelia for such a good experience. We'll be back!

An ideal place to stay with children! We had a great time despite the bad weather... a pity since we could not enjoy the garden, but luckily the penthouse was full of toys to make up for it! We were very comfortable and the rooms were very nice.

We had a very nice time at Conchi's house!! The cottage is right next to the beach, an incredible location!!!Conchi is very friendly and super nice. I recommend it 100%!! We'll be back

We spent a couple of nights, which we were very comfortable, a very quiet area. The house inside is as described in the listing, perfect and cozy, the best thing is the garden, both for meals and for a good relaxing time. Very good communication with Cristina at all times, she recommends places to eat or things to do in the area and an incredible welcome gift.
