La ubicación es espectacular, con vistas impresionantes del lago y un ambiente rodeado de naturaleza que transmite mucha paz. La casa estaba impecable, cómoda y equipada con todo lo necesario para descansar y desconectarse.

This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb’s in many different countries and none compare to this. Finding this place is surely an adventure but once you are there, you don’t want to leave! I can’t say enough good things about the chefs that will cook you every meal. We had them do all the shopping for our meals along with other items we wanted such as water and beer. The housekeeper services that help coordinate private boat rides to other villages, keeping the place clean, or even small things such as turning on the hot tub while we are away are truly incredible perks of this place. The property and views are just amazing and I can’t wait to come back here for my next stay!

I still can't believe how wonderful this place was. If you're looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, this is it. Heavenly. Fast Internet, great host, convenient, clean. Everything about it was perfect.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

¡Nos gustó mucho el alojamiento de Mary! el alojamiento y el precio están demasiado bien, además de que Mary siempre fue muy cordial, se presentó a darnos la bienvenida y explicarnos cosas importantes (cosas de la casa, recomendaciones). En lo personal me pareció lindo ese contacto. Limpieza 10/10, amenidades 10/10, espacio 10/10. Todo excelente. Un alojamiento que seguro lo vale y esperamos regresar pronto.

We had a little family vacation here and it was everything is was advertised to be and more! The staff are all very helpful and responsive. Salvador the property manager was incredible! From keeping the pool clean between our times in to doing grocery runs into the city, he was amazing. All the activities listed were so fun and very family friendly! The rooms were all very clean and there was even bug spray to help with the incests outside. All the local contacts for boat and tour services were also incredibly sweet. Very considerate, accommodating and for a friendly price! Overall, we would definitely consider coming back should we ever want to visit Atitlan and the surrounding towns.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and private place in Santa Cruz. The view is stunning, the house is breezy and full of natural light, and the garden is an oasis. We worked remotely from the loft above with a view of the lake, and the windows letting in the breeze… the Starlink internet was seamless. Town/dock was 5-10 min walk from the house, and town/ATM was a short tuk tuk ride up the hill. Miguel was extremely helpful, always readily available, communicative and with a great attitude. He met us at the dock in Panajachel with a pre booked private transport and helped bring our bags up to the house. We also booked the private chef experience with Manuela and she was amazing… so sweet, punctual, and made us healthy, tasty lunches to enjoy while we worked. She even made us a refreshing drink with a cucumber from her garden, and set the table for us outside to we could eat while enjoying the nice weather. We learned a lot from chatting with her! Lovely people & stay!

This place is pure calm and magic. The permaculture project is also inspiring. Thank you to share this wonderful heaven :)

A well-equipped, clean apartment just one block from the main square and a 5-10 minute walk to the main beach. Communication with the host was easy the entire time. San Lucas doesn't have much tourism, but that's what makes the experience more valuable. My family stayed for a week and enjoyed the rooftop with amazing volcano views.

I agree with all the previous reviews - can’t recommend Griselda and Antonio’s place high enough. San Pedro is loud ! And this is an oasis of calm yet walkable to the town and language school(s) we will defo be back.

The place has an amazing view—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The check-in instructions were clear and everything went smoothly without any delays. The host was very responsive and helpful. We’ll definitely be coming back again! -— El lugar tiene una vista espectacular, ideal para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno. Muy buena ubicación y excelente servicio

Great Airbnb even provided us with a private pick up that was a great little tour and helpful. If you are a warm body there is a fan but you could get hot. Shower has hot water and TV works perfectly as well as WiFi. It is a little far walk from the Main Street Santander but doable only thing about where it’s located is a little hard to describe to a tuk tuk where you’re going and they rarely pass by the street so you can wave them down to take. But overall great experience.

Great stay and location the only thing I would add is maybe an a/c because even with the fans it feels very hot inside the room, even hotter than outside. Other than that, easy check in and very nice host

Eine super schöne Unterkunft. In sehr ruhiger Lage mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Zum See braucht man auch maximal 2 Minuten zu Fuß . Zum erholen und entspannen der perfekte Ort. Das Zentrum von San Pedro ist auch nicht weit weg . 100 Prozent weiter zu empfehlen!

Great place to relax and stay away from The city noise. It’s pretty private. It’s 15 minutes walking from San Pedro and 20 minutes from Juan. It’s 5 minutes by tuk-tuk

Wow! Casa Awanima was such an incredible stay. The landscaping was so thoughtful and beautiful. We loved being surrounded by fruit trees and herbs and watching the butterflies. Perfect place to relax and recharge. We also really enjoyed just hanging around the property coworking. The temezcal and fresh mountain water pool were great and it was so special to connect with Cheyo’s culture during the temezcal ceremony. I really enjoyed Antonio’s yoga and qigong classes. Meals on property were great and so was using the kitchen to cook ourselves and eat outside. 10/10!!!

It was a brilliant stay with everything we needed and great communication. The plunge pool, sauna and net on the deck were big winners. Just do be advised since photos have been taken there is a bit of growth of plants around the property and a new house built next door. Also Nicolas does live on the property out the back who takes care, he is lovely and stays out of the way completely but just a heads up. Had everything we needed but would advise bringing food to cook as it is a bit out of town so having some meals at the place is recommended and a must with the view. Definitely wake up early to watch the stunning sun rises. Thanks for the stay

Everything about La Casa de Oxkan exceeded our expectations. It was close enough to the action that it was easy to get to and from, but private enough that the lively nature of San Pedro was never intrusive. The home is beautiful in every aspect, and Magdalena was one of the most attentive and responsive hosts I’ve ever stayed with. Not if, but when I return to San Pedro, I will absolutely stay here again.

Sleep with crickets and wake up with roosters, all of it with your own personal lake view from the porch. Diego and his mother are great people and have set up this cute cabin which is within walking distance from downtown San Juan and is a perfect place to disconnect from modern life BS. Special props for the super clean towels and bed linens and plenty of blankets available. Wish I booked for longer!

We are a family of 4 (1 currently living in Guatemala) and we absolutely loved this home. Note that it is a family home passed down through generations and is a bit rustic, and requires visitors to be mindful. Some features such as the windows need to be treated with care. The grounds are extraordinary and walkable. The guardian Juan José was available to help if we needed anything including shopping for our BBQ. He lit an outdoor fire and we relaxed under the stars. We made use of paddle boards and kyack. I can't say enough about how helpful Joaquin was before during and after our stay. Thank you thank you

What a magical stay at Ricardo’s cabanas. Ricardo and his son David are both just purely amazing people. Ricardo has constructed everything with such great intention and detail and it’s continuing to grow. They’ve treated me just like family and everything was excellent quality. Pillows, sheets, blankets all so comfortable and well made and the shower is HOT. Tzunana is a quaint area with little restaurants and nightlife but exactly what I was looking for. I will return and I know I have friends for life with them.
